Carhartt WIP Radio warmly welcomes Prinzhorn Dance School, a stripped-down, post-punk duo from the UK's south coast music capital, Brighton. The duo consists of singer and guitar player Tobin Prinz and bass player and singer Suzi Horn, who is also a DJ in her own right. In 2007 they released their self-titled debut album on DFA Records, a New York-based label known for artists such as The Rapture, Hercules & Love Affair and LCD Soundsystem. After a string of acclaimed 7" singles, Prinzhorn Dance School released their second album 'Clay Class' in 2012, another indispensable LP, full of left field lyrics and lo-fi tracks, mixed with bass, guitar, and drums. For Carhartt WIP Radio, Suzi Horn dives deep into the DFA catalogue and delivers a show of both fresh and older music by the likes of Junior Senior, Le Tigre, Black Leotard Front, Radio 4, and some hot Prinzhorn Dance School material!

The Kraut Jazz Futurism compilation shows what's cookin’ in the new German Jazz scene. Young German bands and a few of the international musicians working in Berlin now. Fresh artists that combine Jazz, Kraut Rock, Afro, Hip Hop and Electronica in a new way.
The first part of the compilation came out last year and was described by The Wire as  „… a re-drawn map of underground Berlin. Refreshingly new, eccentric, badassed and sometimes funny.“ 
This second part goes further. Similar to Gilles Peterson’s We Out Here compilation, where he shows mainly the new hip english Jazz artists, on Kraut Jazz Futurism Kryptox records head honcho Mathias „Kapote“ Modica puts together what’s hot in the new club jazz scene in Germany. And there is a lot cookin’ in Berlin right now. Kraut Jazz Futurism comes out on Kryptox. Sublabel of Gomma & Toy Tonics records.
