Response (JTSunrise): “Life—highs, lows, mostly inbetween. My songs reflect personal journeys and shared experiences”

Question: How do you balance craftsmanship and spontaneity?
Response (JTSunrise): “Craftsmanship matters. i handpick my instruments with bare fingers and pour my soul into each note. Magic happens in mistakes so i plan to have them and work them in”

1. What is your creative process like when writing and recording music?
    * JTSunrise’s Response: “A cosmic dance of creation! When i write, i sit under moonlit trees, strum my guitar to owls, let stardust melodies flow. Recording? Well, i channel wave energy into my microphone. It’s all about capturing radiation.”
2. How do you stay inspired and motivated to create music?
    * JTSunrise’s Response: “Meteor showers, the way leaves rustle, owls. Motivation comes from the background hum of the universe. i listen to it with a cup of chai”
3. Describe a time when you had to collaborate with other musicians on a project.
    * JTSunrise’s Response: “Had a jam session on Saturn’s rings. We traded riffs like shooting stars. Collaboration? It’s like harmonizing with comets—unexpected mysteries and white celestial light majik magic”
4. Do you have experience performing live? If so, what techniques do you use to engage the audience?
    * JTSunrise’s Response: “Whisper banjo secrets to the crowd. Make eye contact with Orion and recite genuinely thoughtful and meaningful empathetic banter. Works every time”

We may not have traveled far and wide,  but Keith has a way of transporting us all over the world through his curious mind and love of history. So, why are we in Italy? Simply put, Keith loves Vespas ;)  Actually, he loves the idea of the band touring Italy on Vespas, funky hipster wheels and recording tunes as we go.  The "Sock Puppets" was a theme Keith developed as he created some videos depicting travels with the WAG puppets.

This recording follows one of four entire Sessions from May 2024 @ 'The Living Room' in Victoria, B.C. Canada.

We used just 1 ZOOM Stereo Microphone to capture the total sound of Piano and Guitar vibrating in the room. Therefore no direct mic -ing of each instrument in other words.

Sections of this have been released before - but i felt that some of you may really appreciate Listening to how our improvisational conversation developed from start to finish.
