'Red Flame' was a collaboration between Lady Gaga & Azealia Banks for the 2013 album, ARTPOP. The track was scrapped due to personal differences between the two.

This is my attempt to reconstruct and remix Lady Gaga's song 'Plastic Doll' off her latest album Chromatica.

I've used my vocals as backup, because I couldn't find the official stems to the song, so i had to work with the filtered acapella (which is quite challenging to use Melodyne on). The whole arrangement was made/produced by me on Acoustica Mixcraft.

about the production:

I initially thought of making the instrumental sound a bit darker and distorted by using a lot of bass and distortion effects, but then I thought it would sound a bit off from everything else i've been remixing of chromatica. 
So I basically switched the original chords to 7's and used my so often used rhodes piano. Then I downloaded a bunch of doll commercials and toys sound effects from youtube and sampled them into the track. There are also children laughter throughout the track which I also got from YT.

I love using bells layered up with synths to accompany the melody. I used it a lot on this track, mainly in the outro and in the bridge. I also used kick drums from SLdrums, snaps (sampled) and claps from many sources. You can also hear bongos, hats and hi-hats on the chorus, these were all taken from Mixcraft libraries.  Most of the synths you hear in the track I customized on 'MASSIVE'
