Disrupta is a name that’s stormed across the Drum & Bass scene in the past year picking up new fans with each new project and effortlessly sliding into new sub-genres. In 2020 Kieran (Disrupta) released his Deep Thoughts EP on Liquid V, a four track release that saw him explore a deeper, more musical side, in 2021 we now welcome him onto V Recordings for the next step in his journey.

The Changes EP is a four track project that spans across a selection of sub-genres whilst all being glued by the ‘Disrupta’ sound. The title track features Manchester vocalist DRS, a musician who needs little introduction and has worked with artists such as Children Of Zeus, dBridge and Marcus Intalex to name a few. ‘Wireless’ is a track sure to be on rotation when clubs back open, ’Tequila’ with J Select sees him delve even deeper into his tech side, and the project goes in full circle with ’Play It Cool’ falling into the same liquid vein as the title track.

We’re looking forward to seeing where Disrupta goes next as his musical pallet continues to develop, if this EP is anything to go by the experimentation is far from done.

"Likkle Spy" is taken from the newest EP in the PUR mainline series from new kid on the block SMG. Atmospheric & eerie plucks and pads set the tone in the intro, building up tension until the drop where Jamie showcases his unique style once again with a tekky bass pattern and quick synth and vocal riffs over some sharp & steppy drums.
