With one foot in indie pop and the Scanian prog soil and the other in jazz, as well as some inherited unconscious Swedish folk music, Det enda bl.a. creates a completely unique intersection of something you think you recognize but then forget. After a couple of EPs, it's now time for a debut album. The album has been titled "Som att börja gå nedför i en stillastående rulltrappa" and will be released on October 24. The first taste was the song "Med ett liv i behåll? " which was released on August 29th, Now on Friday, September 26th, single number two will be released called "Sen skulle jag följt hennes egna råd ". 
 
Behind the project Det enda bl.a. is John Bjerkert. In the band, songwriter John plays drums and piano, Conny Fridh bass, Isak Ringnér guitar and Andreas Sjögren saxophones, keyboards and percussion.

Det enda bl.a. is a pure solo project completely dependent on the participation of others.
 
“Det enda bl.a. is a very private project that was created by me going down to the basement and staying there for a while. It’s formalized whims and the same song in different versions. Writing music, or for that matter creating in general, I think is about staying in the flying thoughts, joining them together and then backing off. Complete focus on details becomes a nice unthought-out whole.”

Med ett liv i behåll?


Malmöiten Carl Johan Lundgren är tillbaka med sitt legendariska Vit Päls och levererar en sommar-indie-dänga perfekt för ljusa nätter. Calle väckte Vit Päls till liv igen 2023 med albumet Back in päls efter att i 10 år släpps musik i bandet Laser & bas. En uppriktig nystart som gav ringar på vattnet som fortfarande svallar. 

“Oh yeah SLAY!” är en låt för alla de tillfällen då du tycker att saker och ting behöver lyfta i sommar. Så som: en fest på en uteplats där någon hängt upp kulörta lampor. Tillfället då du precis tänt grillen och öppnat en öl. En cykeltur till havet.
