Gaffa Blue was raised in Battersea, South West London in the mid-60s, born to Jamaican parents he was raised in a household with a vibrant cultural mixture of reggae and ska music. Gaffa Blues earliest memories are of his Mother and Father hosting dance parties on weekends, this is where Gaffa Blues adoration for reggae music was first born. He remembers the first ever record he bought from Slip Disc record shop, called Ballistic Affair by Leroy Smart. He couldn’t have known at this point, that this first record purchase would be the start of a lifetime love affair and career within the reggae music industry. 

In addition to Gaffa Blues Dub Vendor career and GB Distribution Company, he has been a DJ/Selector for Killer Watt Sound and First Class Sound. Most notably, in August 1990 Gaffa Blue joined and became the resident selector of Nasty Love sound system, the then number 1dancehall sound system in London. He would stay with Nasty Love for 8 years.

Gaffa Blue has been interviewed on Capital Radio, and has had countless mentions and write ups in magazines and newspaper articles, most famously NME.

Gaffa Blue has also been interviewed for and featured in a BBC documentary marking the 50th Anniversary of the Notting Hill Carnival, which was televised in August 2015.

Gaffa Blue continues to actively DJ and select for Nasty Rockers, he has DJ’d in France, Spain, Germany and Portugal to name a few. 

GB has maintained his love of vinyl records; he currently has over 20, 000 vinyl records. 

GB continues to distribute, press, promote and market for various reggae artist and musicians.

Ricardo Paris is a Portuguese-born DJ / record collector based in London. Since the young age of 13, music and record collecting have always been a big part of his life – records were always around the house and playing on his dad’s old Pioneer record player. But it is not until ’95 that Skateboarding, Hip-hop culture and all the jazz/soul sampled tracks became a love in his life and a deep inspiration within his eclectic DJ sets.

Over the last 20 years, he’s brought his eclectic mix of deep soul, jazz, funk, afro, brazil and much more to the dance floors on original format across the UK and Europe and he has played in several well known bars and venues such as London: Brilliant Corners, Spiritland and Servant Jazz Quarters, Seed Library Paris: Bambino and Berlin: Bar Thousand, Rhinoçéros to mention a few.

He has also been involved in some of the most exciting projects in London such as the prestigious record label run by Maxwell Pastor aka Diggers Dozen of which he has consistently delivered over 7 DJ mixes with mainly OG heavyweight rare records from his private collection of which can be heard and checked on Mixcloud.

Ricardo’s DJ sets are mainly an eclectic mix of music flavours on an impressive mainly original pressings from his collection but also he plays the odd new exciting release making his DJ mixes always interesting he’s the sort of DJ that easily adapts to any bar, or club environment and his sets never cease to amaze the crowds and music lovers across the globe.

Keith Lawrence is a Club DJ/Radio Presenter with over 30 years experience. Playing Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop, Boogie Reggae & anything else with ‘Soul’. His musical versatility has seen him DJ alongside DMC Scratch Dj’s to Reggae Soundsystems as well as ‘Keeping it Lively’ in the Bars & Clubs.
Keith started his DJ career in the 80’s with a Soul sound system called ‘Magic Touch’ from South London. He was brought in as the ‘Reggae man’ but also played Soul, Boogie and Hip-Hop.

During the eighteen years on community radio (Powerjam Radio 10 yrs & Bassline FM 8 years), Keith always played an alternative selection, garnering respect and making links with artists from the UK Hip-Hop scene. This led to him co-release The Bussin’ True EP and subsequently setting up his own record label, Muzik-ed Recordings. Keith also spent fifteen years working in various record shops.

Since Keith started in production, he has worked with the likes of Maxi Jazz (Faithless), veteran reggae singer the late Jnr Delgado, Jerry Dammers (The Specials), Keith Leblanc (Drummer of Sugarhill gang), Rodney-P, TY, Daz-I-Kue (Bugz in the attic), Spacek, Andy Smith, Helen Rogers and more.

His DJ skills have carried him around the world, receiving a Radio Presenters award from The Stereograph Foundation in October 2017 and was nominated in 2002 for ‘Best UK Hip-Hop Radio Presenter’ in The UK Hip-Hop awards.
