Far too many times we've heard of people, know or seen people who have remained in the state they are in because of fear, ignorance or a lack of courage.

Not too often do we hear reasons given why they remain in their state of misery as "waiting for things to become easier." Even though this may be part of the narrative surrounding the lack of courage, yet stating the reason this way is not often done.

You might be thinking this might be just semantics and not really a big deal, but I beg to differ.

The clearer I can be on what is getting in my way or preventing me from making a move to do something that I would like to do, the easier it is for me to get help and / or find a solution.

If the reason is "waiting for life or a situation to become easier" that might never happen, number one and number two, I could get help to punch holes in that thought process much easier.

As a Coach, I find that when I work with clients who are stuck, this is one of the areas that I explore - their beliefs. This is critical for a more successful outcome. If I can help my client identify what specifically keeps them stuck the chance of success increases dramatically.
In this episode, our guest - Jim Palmer - shares how he had to overcome this myth quickly so that he could take immediate action on starting his business. 
He talks about his financial problems and how he had to decide to do something about it for his family's sake. He knew that the only way things would change financially, is if he did something about it. It would not get better on it's own.
Another hurdle he had to overcome is that of being diagnosed with cancer. Again, he could sit around and wait to feel better or do what he needed to do on his part. He chose the latter and it has made all the difference for him.
