This week we have a special collaboration between two Kingsway OG’s – Matthew Tavares and Kaan Güneşberk, whose work with the Library goes back to our original volumes when they would often work with Frank Dukes in their shared studio. Both skilled producers, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists with multiple platinum certifications and Grammy recognition, their credits include modern titans like Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Post Malone, Mac Miller and Rosalia, and we are fortunate and proud to present their first ever collaborative volume.

Created over the last year in cities and studios around North America, these seventeen tracks offer an incredible variety of moods, melodies and arrangements on an eclectic mix of instruments such as a CS80, Analogue Systems RS8000, Mellotron, 60s Jazzmaster guitar, Vintage Hofner Bass and recorded through a top of the line Neve, with Telefunken and Neumann microphones. There is endless music here to toy with, from two of the world’s most sought-after collaborators. Do not sleep on this one.

Kingsway is back with a debut volume from john wehmeyer, an LA-based producer and multi-instrumentalist who has worked with many buzzing artists across genres, including mynameisntjmack, Kate Bollinger, and Tommy Richman. 

Originally from Virginia, John plays guitar, bass, keys, and is classically trained in upright bass. By combining his experiences working in Hip-Hop, RnB, and alternative genres, the majority of this atmospheric and melodic volume was created over the course of two weeks this past summer in John’s studio in Burbank, CA. 

We’re super excited to share John’s debut Kingsway volume. He also shared some sauce with us  of his recording process, including using: 

- a Fender deluxe guitar amp for tracking electric guitars w/ sm57
- the u87 for tracking nylon string guitar, vox, and percussion
- sm7B for tracking vox & percussion
- u87/sm7B sent through analog preamp & compressor [Heritage Audio ’73 JR & dbx560A]

This week we have a debut volume from Chicago-born, LA-based producer Eric Butler. Most known for his work with artists like Chance The Rapper, Bon Iver, John Legend, & Ari Lennox, Butler is a masterful producer and instrumentalist, who has also toured as a keyboard player and performed at Festivals like Bonnaroo and South by Southwest.

Here on his debut volume, his entire tool kit is put to use. BPM’s range from a smooth 80 bpm to a frenetic 140bpm, and the volume is richly stocked with lush strings, cinematic textures and otherworldly keyboard melodies all beautifully arranged and performed. From his origins as a church keyboardist to his growth into a Billboard charting producer, everything he has learned is captured here, and the Kingsway Music Library is proud to present it.

FINAL MOMENTS

This week’s we have the 3rd installment of Jules’ Rarely series. Known for his tasteful, sophisticated instrumentation and musicality, these fifteen tracks contain a healthy blend of guitars, keys, synths and vocals woven through a musical world where Jules’ abilities with effects and editing elevate the character of each piece. BPM’s range from 73 to 147 with a wide variety of styles.

Since his first release with Kingsway in 2021 Jules continues to push himself into unexplored territory, and here on this third release the balance between familiar and foreign sounds is found effortlessly. We hope you find lots to work with!

All The Time In The World

The Kingsway Music Library is a boutique sample library created and curated by Grammy-Award winning producer Frank Dukes. Initially a place for Dukes to release volumes of his own compositions that were then sampled by many producers and artists on many pinnacle songs of the last decade, it grew to include compositions and releases from many young up and coming producers such as CVRE, FORTHENIGHT, Mino, Louis Bell, Wallis Lane, Allen Ritter and others.
