Kingsway Samples: Recent Highlights

This week we have an otherworldly debut from Toronto Composer/Producer Nate Kreiswirth! With an experimental approach and a massive mix of instruments, Nate’s debut volume is a kaleidoscope of ideas, some playful, some adventurous, and all with a refined sonic palette and expert production.

The tracks contain tempos ranging from 70bpm to 160pm with a mix of acoustic, electric and baritone electric guitars, dobro, banjo, mandolin, guitulele, cello, churango, octavina, mbira, live vocals, auto harp, toy piano, whistles flutes and more! German composer Feixel has been working towards a Kingsway volume since sending us some examples of his work out of the blue and impressing everyone with his sonics, approach to composition, and abilities on a number of instruments.

He has created an incredibly exciting debut, with a classic feel, modern sounds and techniques and impeccable, purposeful melodies and textures. With a large selection of tempos and keys, Feixel’s musical playground is well equipped for even the most seasoned music maker.

The Kingsway Music Library is a boutique sample library created and curated by Grammy-Award winning producer Frank Dukes. Initially a place for Dukes to release volumes of his own compositions that were then sampled by many producers and artists on many pinnacle songs of the last decade, it grew to include compositions and releases from many young up and coming producers such as CVRE, FORTHENIGHT, Mino, Louis Bell, Wallis Lane, Allen Ritter and others.
