As well as this Secretsundaze marks a new chapter in the institution’s storied history with the foundation of the new imprint 9FINITY (@9finity-hq). The label aims to run with this descriptor through no-nonsense, discerning dance records from artists at the vanguard of modern club music. 

Making a statement with its maiden release, is a vinyl only V/A compiled with the considered curation synonymous with the Secretsundaze name. 9FINITY001 brings together the talents of Eoin DJ, DJ Life, Luca Attanasio, Coffintexts and E-Talking across 5 tracks and digital bonus that act as a distillation of the label’s sonic vision. The debut release, 9FINITY001, is set to drop on September 19th.

In celebration of this milestone and in true Secretsundaze style is the announcement of the 9FINITY launch party at London’s iconic Pickle Factory on September 28th. The event welcomes E-Talking and club favorite Lora Mipsum to the pickle spaceship, alongside Secretsundaze for a night of heads down, hands up dance music. Dirtybird almost never puts out a 4-track EP. But Nikki Nair’s “Power Tool” is an exception we’re glad to make.
Claude VonStroke was recently turned on to Nikki Nair by watching Nala's TV Party on the Dirtybird Live streaming network. She played one of his remixes and immediately VonStroke became infatuated with his sound. A cross between breaks, drum & bass, and old-school Dirtybird vibes, Nikki became an instant favorite. His 4-track EP “Power Tool” is a hot record foreshadowing the label's future direction in 2021 when the rules will get loose and its not all going to be about tech house anymore.
