"The reason I selected this for the series was, for myself, it being personal time piece, the quality of the tracks and the mix being consistently good. Building through some great soulful house vocals and dubs into some deep cuts that haven't dated since it's release in 2002. Having quite a few of these on vinyl picked up around the time, including Mindflight's "Release", Derrick White's "Soul 2 Let Go" and Kerri Chandler's "Atmospheric Beats" the mix by silky deep house man Miguel Migs was never far from the earlobes at the time. And being released on the ever consistently good Naked Music label, its great from start to finish. A true reflection of the kinds of tracks I played out in sets when I started out DJing. Enjoy!!" Kinky Movement - February 2021 - Lockdown FM - SESSION 3

Kinky Movement, formed in 1997 by friends in Nottingham passionate about house music, began hosting events at venues like the Sky Club (later Blueprint), The Bomb, Dubble Bubble, and The Edge. Members Andrew McLoughlin, Lee Eden, and John Symms transitioned into music production, releasing their first track in 2004 on Tango Records. Since then, they’ve produced over 300 tracks and remixes across more than 50 labels, including Salted Music, Large Music, Swing City, Drop Music, King Street, Jalapeño, and Erase. Their extensive discography has led to performances in over 20 countries, including Australia, the US, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, Bulgaria, Belgium, Georgia, and Ukraine. Their music has been licensed to Armada Music and Hed Kandi compilations and featured on BBC Radio 1 Extra by Monki.
