Let's welcome Frankfurt-raised and Berlin-based DJ, producer, label owner, ace drummer, and piano player Johannes Klingebiel. We at LIVE AT ROBERT JOHNSON are very proud to release his 4-track EP entitled »For Everything«.

And let's just get to the point: »For Everything« is a tune for every situation and for everyone - why? Because it has all the typical Klingebiel elements: A play- and joyful dreamy sound with a fat boom-bap beat. What else do you need?! And yes: You CAN fade to grey with it … yes, it has got this vibe.

»Torso«'s torso is built on the same ingredients as the title track: Take a thumping bass drum, add some dreamy harmonies and you get a fresh and wistful track for the early club hours. 

Up next is »Not Today« where Johannes reduces the speed to achieve a trance-like effect with this deep, deep web of sound. Again he convinces you with beautiful harmonies that suck you deep into the groove - maybe »Not Today« but definitely tomorrow.

»In The End It Did Not Matter« - the last tune on this EP - of course DOES matter. Mr. Klingebiel speeds up again and adds a layer of synth sounds keeping the overall dreamful atmosphere alive and vibrant for you to take full advantage on your favorite dancefloor - be it as a listener or dancer or as the shaman of the night, the DJ:

We premiere new music from Mila Stern who features on Kisok I.D. alongside Camea, Öona Dahl, mytripismytrip, and Hardt Antoine on remix duties. We feature ‘Deadline Disco’, an off-kilter progressive cut that thrives on shuffling percussive rhythms and screeching synth lines to devasting affect.

DJ-producer Mila Stern is the latest addition to the Kiosk I.D. crew – the in-house label of Kater Blau Club Berlin. The rising producer serves up a six-track EP entitled ‘Five Finger EP’ featuring remixes from Camea, Öona Dahl, mytripismytrip, and Hardt Antoine.

The ‘Five Finger EP’ turns up the heat on the floor with thick tech house kicks and jagged electroclash-style sawtooth leads. With touches of industrial and post-punk, the ‘Five Finger EP’ follows in the footsteps of left-field producers such as Lena Willikens and Inga Mauer. Sonically ‘Five Finger EP’ bears all the hallmarks of tough decision making during the creative process.

“Sometimes you have the obvious route,” Stern explains. “And sometimes you have the second or third or fourth route that is not that obvious.” In her world, that means uncomfortable or jarring, a key element in all Stern’s work.
We premiere ‘Deadline Disco’, a left-field look at the contemporary big-room prog sounds. Mila Stern leans into jagged percussive rhythms on this one, creating a rigid groove that is made the challenge dancefloors in the best kind of way. Shrieking synths and sinister effects creating a menacing undertone acroos the face of a marching band-style snare shuffle. “It reminds me of an angry child sitting there with a snare drum in a room, and just being noisy.”

Tel Aviv-based DJ and producer Takiru delivers a vibrant, dancefloor-centric fusion of warmly evolving arpeggios and driving percussive groove structures for Kiosk ID no. 027. Inspired by the unique sense of interconnectedness dance music can evoke, ‚Never Enough’ features two collaborations with Baroth and Omri Guetta and an atmospheric reimagination by Sobek. 

‘All Of His Friends’ is a melodically-charged torrent of cascading arps, spaced-out vocals, and a compact, throbbing substructure. Anchored in buoyant, springy percussion, Takiru and Baroth’s title track unfolds waves of loopy synth themes that morph across the frequency spectrum, forming ever-evolving layers of melodic nuance across an infectiously danceable core. 

Sobek’s edit electrifies ‘All Of His Friends’ with ultra-low subs, drawn-out energy arcs, and high-voltage percussion. An evocative lead synth infuses the pulsating original with a searing sense of drama and powerful anthemic qualities. 

‘Never Enough’ unleashes rays of fluttering staccato chords and bit-crushed bass salvos that hover across perpetually cycling drum structures. Takiru and Omri Guetta invoke a yearning lust for life with a vocal mantra, epitomizing the power of dance music’s energetic release with a dynamic and brightly uplifting groover. 

Takiru’s pulsating and deceptively melodic sound merges Indie Dance and uptempo Playa Tech into an arp-crazed brand of groove-centric dancefloor ecstasy. As a collaborative effort, ‘All Of His Friends’ encapsulates the power of interconnectedness in music – artistically in the studio and as a shared release of euphoria on the dancefloor.
