We are delighted to extend the GUN-X series with a second edition in partnership with HIDE Productions !

GUN-X is a series of releases that enlarge the processes of collaboration beyond the borders of the Global URL Nation. For each project in the series, members of the GUN community collaborate with members from another collective or label - exploring the results of cross-pollination and pooling across the global ecosystem of electronic music.

After an abrasive edition with Heel.zone in 2020, we’re happy to partner this time with the incredible multi-disciplinary collective HIDE Productions from Italy ! HIDE aims to connect artists by sharing resources such as sample packs, devices, types or 3D assets, in addition to delivering sharp and sizzling releases and audiovisual projects. Their dedication to provide high quality projects and resources over the years made it one of the most obvious choices to develop the series.

For the project, HIDE members SY/N, T.U. / Capiuz, Coeden & Leden cooked a pack of samples and M4L devices that were proposed to GUN members to make a track. 

AFGA06L, B E N N x Griigg, Cralias, Fungal Mat, jjjacob x P IT, Lukann, Nagruv, Sha Sha Kimbo x xato, & Talita Otović from the GUN community reinterpreted these to deliver a 10-track compilation that ranges from vaporous synthetic soundscapes to deafening growls, bitter hits and jarring noises. A caustic club material to handle with caution !

Blending different musical landscapes into one, drawing on what already exists to create a new style of electronic music - this is at the heart of vendredear's practice. To compose and shape their music, the Paris-based DJ explores and shares the rich heritage of club music, while willingly accepting the role of a serial-digger, archivist as well as curator, notably within LYL Radio Paris.

Be it destructive or revitalizing, vendredear's music is a gateway to the intimacy of music itself, awakening our inner exaltations through the echo of their own. They transcend feelings and passions, convey secrets and confessions, and set the beat of our hearts like a metronome.

Athens based artist and producer Apu Nanu, draws inspiration from post-internet aesthetics, 20th-century music, video games, and microtonality. His music is characterized by a collage-like sound, blending various influences into a distinctive sonic narrative. In 2024, he released his debut EP, "The Untold Saga," under the Polish label "BFF Music.

Rumina is a DJ, producer, and club organizer hailing from Malmö, Sweden.
Since 2018, she's been an integral part of the dynamic music and studio
collective, FNGRLCKN. The primary aim of FNGRLCKN is to serve as a platform
for FLINTA+ DJs and producers in Malmö, who often receive limited exposure
on the city's club and cultural stages.
Rumina draws inspiration from an eclectic mix of genres and influences,
constantly pushing the boundaries of her sound. Her DJ and live sets are a
fusion of contemporary club sounds, folk melodies, punk vibes, and dembow
rhythms.
In 2022, Rumina unleashed her EP "Eternal Maze" on the CDMX label
Hypersonics. Her sound has also found homes in renowned labels such as
HTS (FR), XSM Recordings (TR), and local Malmö labels. Rumina has also lent
her creative touch to remixes for WRACK and Ttristana, showcasing her
versatility and curiosity for experimentation. In 2024, she collaborated with
Starleaf to release the EP Pegasos/Rosth on the Ecuadorian label CTM.
