I've constructed this mix with tracks that currently define the sonic intentions I put in my productions, i.e. what I like to call environmental techno (lol). Both fake nature sounds and razor sharp blades of noise coexist in this world, with heavy entrancing basslines, clichés rythms and elastic acid screams serving as a vector to display emotions. Next up on the EDWIN Music Channel is @zoemcpherson a Berlin-based multimedia artist of French and Northern Irish heritage, whose work flows effortlessly between sound design, performance, and visual art.

Described as a "vanguard" by Mixmag, Mc Pherson's practice encompasses producing, DJing, and curating, often exploring the intersection of club culture and experimental art.

traverse is proud to announce the release of its first record - a compilation of six tracks from various artists, inspired by Pembroke King’s poem moving silhouettes, written for this occasion.

As the fourth volume of the compilation series “traversée”, moving silhouettes encourages artists to explore all corners of listening music and creative avenues that aren’t tied to any one convention.

Pembroke King’s poem sheds light on the mood of the compilation, and even though each artist brings its own interpretation of it, there is a beautiful harmony of it all - from Kate Miller’s atmospheric sounds to Teqmun’s drums-made-of-rain-drop-recordings or Ghjuliú’s nostalgic melodies, the listener travels around Pembroke’s words with each track.

As our first physical release, we feel honoured to collaborate with artists who have been involved in a way or another on traverse before such as Officium, Mika Oki and Alohn, but Kate Miller, Teqmun, and Ghjuliú, that we’ve been keeping close to our heart for a long time already.

This radio show seeks to explore and visualize the vast spectrum of human emotions and everyday moments through sonic experimentation. By blending a wide array of sounds—field recordings, poetry, spoken word, and influences from past and contemporary artists—i want to create an immersive, multisensory experience that challenges traditional boundaries of perception.
Drawing from genres such as experimental, ambient, drone, noise, deconstructed, emo, downtempo, and beyond, the show will serve as a canvas for emotional depth and complexity. It will offer a journey where sound becomes a mean for introspection, revealing how emotions, thoughts, and reality itself can become fluid and uncertain.
In this space, words will coexist with sounds, inviting listeners to experience a reality that is both elusive and vivid, where the lines between the spoken, the heard, and the felt blur into a dynamic exploration of what it means to be human in an ever-shifting world.

Between the absurdity and the horrors of reality you can find their sound. An eclectic mix of clubby yet swampy kicks and textures, overlaid with never-ending ambient bliss. They are always leaning to include the rhythms and percussions from their homeland, which bring a ritualistic atmosphere and that they always carry close to their ajayu.

qanossonap is an artist based in Athens, Greece, known for their experimental approach to sound. Their work often explores themes of memory, body, feelings and the dissolution of boundaries between self and environment. Their music is characterised by a blend of electronic, experimental, ambient and dance elements.

Amity presents Chrome Abyss, the much-anticipated debut solo EP from sought-after producer and DJ Beaabea. Her tracks have caught the attention of key tastemakers like Jaguar and Martha on BBC Radio 1, with releases including her debut single 'Pixelate' on EMA’s label Woozy imprint, and her latest cut 'Constants' on Amity. After making her mark with these standout early releases, Chrome Abyss arrives as a distilled and deliberate statement, channeling a sound palette that is shiny, metallic, and fluid yet grounded in rhythmic force.

Across four tightly constructed tracks, Beaabea unveils a world of glistening surfaces and low-end pressure - bass-heavy, refined, and built for maximum club potency. KNOCK OUT! hits with a sharp, clean impact; I Like Your Mind coils around processed vocal phrases and slick sub textures; MISFIRE rattles with mechanical tension.
