"The mix is kind of a sequel to this (https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/EvJv7M2E5Gt2KA878) which I made last year. But that one was more a reflection of solitude and longing, and this one is dedicated to friendship and coming home... I wanted it to feel like a soundtrack, with each song a new scene. The opening and closing tracks are from the yo la tengo s/t to Kelly Reichardt’s beautiful buddy / road movie Old Joy. They’re called “leaving home” and “driving home.” The mix is also inspired by her films as portraits of companionship. I also included music from some of my favourites, old and new, ylt, penguin cafe orchestra, the garbage & the flowers, and flowchart."

It's an escapist daydream where gently lilting rhythms melt away into psychedelic dub with intimate vocal whispers. Indian meditations captivate the heart and mind while lo-fi guitar fuzz lulls you into a hypnagogic state.
