I would love to see Riuichi Sakamoto. 

If you had to trade your USB with one DJ, who would it be and why?

URA (Zac MacArthur)! Mans got tunes. 

How do you typically prepare a mix?

I fill a stick or a bag with music I want to play. Try not to overthink it. After a while I feel like intuition is king.

Who do you think is the most underrated artist of our time?

CFCF / Cecile Believe

3 goals for 2022 that has nothing to do with music?

Breath. Stretch more. Get a dog?

If you had to go back in time music wise what era would it be and why?

I think I’d stay right here. Insane music coming out right now!

DJ Fart In The Club @ Sustain Release

What is your most recent favorite DJ mix and why?

Huerco S and DJ Healthy at Public Records. Refreshing club music. Love it.

What was your first gig? How did it go? 

It was in a bar in the suburbs using Virtual DJ. My girlfriend at the time was celebrating her birthday. We were 16. It was hype.

Second Contact, NYC-based DJ & Metalsmith, is inspired by blending a diverse set of sounds including acid, techno, extraterrestrial and dark soundscapes, progressive trance, and more.

Before emerging as a DJ, he is a designer, self-taught metalsmith, and founder of a mix series where he combines traditional metalworking techniques and sculpture to fabricate jewelry collaboratively with DJ mix submissions to the platform, FORGE.FM. He’s motivated by working and collaborating with others and he’s driven by commitment to quality and timelessness.

Second Contact is inspired by those who know the rules well enough to break them. He's currently holding a residency at Honey Trap, the hottest party series in New York City.

Justus Arvelin is a DJ and graphic designer navigating between New York and Helsinki, approaching both practices with versatile ways, and a forward-thinking spirit — all carried out with a smile.

In recent years, Justus has organized several club events in Helsinki, focusing on bringing together the new generation of DJs and club-goers and creating spaces where clubbing can be silly but taken seriously at the same time. Sound-wise, he's known for his disco-y, dance-floor-friendly rhythms, but over the past year, thumping techno and spacious melodies have become prominent in his mixes.

He is a resident DJ at Club Kaiku in Helsinki and a fresh addition to the Honey Trap residents in New York. That’s the whole shebang.

A new mix by Gi Gi, who is known for making music between ambient, downtempo, dub and trip hop.

For this mix, however, he increases the energy & tempo considerably, while maintaining the sense of texture that informs his music.

He recently put out an album on Quiet Time Tapes in September, and has previously released on Good Morning Tapes, INDEX:Records, and Ways Inner Pass.

it's a recording from a club set at a friend's diy space in nyc last september, from the release party for my last lp that just came out.
