DJ Ion [he/him] (@dj_ion) has been an active part of Berlin's art and electronic music scene for quite some time now. His musical outcome as promoter and DJ ranges from ambient live sets trough jazz nights all the way to slashing dancefloor experiences. As proven on his debut EP on powerhouse a.r.t.less, his UK inspired sound feels right at home on modern dance floors while carrying enough creative weight and relevance to keep you equally entertained in your living room. Combining these influences with captivating musical currents like Techno, Drum n Bass, Dubstep and Breaks, he is and will be an artist to keep an eye on. But as always, let the music do the talking!

Intertwining dance music genres and coming from an audio engineering background, Pyramid of Knowledge has sculpted his own sound identity for the past few years.

Releasing on labels such as Hard Beach Entertainment, Craigie Knowes, and Dream Ticket, P.o.K.’s records have become some of the most sought after by exigent selectors.

P.o.K. loves to create rich and textured atmospheres with precise drum grooves. Layer upon layer, organic compositions materialize into music that both stays fresh and original whilst maintaining an old-school vibe.

The Parisian born but Seoul based influences and approach to music allowed him to record tracks that take you on a trip, tickle your brain, and keep your body running simultaneously.

On the last two weekends of January 2023 we exchanged some mutual affection with Vitamin, our favorite music pit and the best crew from Brno. We decided to immortalise the two long nights with a few small doses of Vitamin A extracts – five recordings from events in Prague and Brno. 

First recording belongs to Skalm, who opened Planeta Za's floor on January 20.

To leave things unsaid might be the best gift. So that your mind can remain curious, not fearful and that you can bravely enter the Dreamlands with a riddle-solving approach. Humphrey Littlewit knew it and RRRKRTA knows it too. Now is the time to try & solve the enigmas of Brutaż.

This exploratory Polish party series started in 2012 and was subsequently ran by RRRKRTA. In 2016, after a fair amount of nights, screenings, lectures & performances, the Brutaż team had set the label up, which introduced quite a few names from East Europe and the rest of the world.

Carlo Maria, Draveng, Jules Venturini, Mazewski & Shjva – each of them is a mystery within a mystery. Following RRRKRTA's story offers somewhat of a clue.

Having formed a trademark sound that flirted between electro, EBM, acid, wave sounds, post punk and industrial, Identified Patient's penchant for club and genre experimentation always left the door open for a producer wanting to keep things fresh and interesting with every release going forward. His debut EP, The Female Medical College of Pennsylvania, landed via Common Thread in 2016 and since then he's found a regular home via Pinkman, dropping four releases of industrial percussion for the Rotterdam-based label. With a release on Dekmantel last year and another one for them coming up in June we caught up with Job to discuss old Prodigy tapes and Suzuki Swifts, his incorporation of samples in his productions, scoring a short love film for Otto Laan, and the extra step he's been taking in the minor details. Describing the forthcoming EP as being more focussed on beats, rhythm, lower frequencies and the dancefloor in general, it's a direction that's helped him move forward in terms of his skill and technical prowess as a producer. His Truancy Volume, an interlocking hour and a half of tempo switches and unpredictable selections, is utterly body-rocking. It's a representative of what he like's to play in his sets these days, with breaks and more bass orientated tracks fully at the forefront here. It's a blistering spectrum of sounds and a snapshot of a producer and DJ posied for a future in creativity and big records.
