During the catch up Annabel introduces her recent project, “Decolonising Contraception” (@decolonisingcontra) and discusses her recent move back to London (1:00). Tobi shares insights from his latest read: “Sex and the Empire that is no more: Gender and the politic of Metaphor in Oyo Yoruba Religion” by J. Lorand Matory (3:20), Nomsa is celebrating a promotion at work (8:40) and Jules is doing a 10k charity run for #WorldAidsDay (13:30).

The team share their views on the recent deportation of former rouge UBS trader Kweku Adobli (17:00). Would the punishment have been as severe for a British or EU citizen?
