[BIRDFEED EXCLUSIVE] Barcelona's Fer BR gives us two new tracks for the 'Feed! Keep an eye out for his official Dirtybird EP later in the year.

-How long have you been creating music?

I've released my first track in June 2007 , and started producing a year before that ... so almost 14 Years in this amazing journey.

-What do you use to make your tracks?

I work most of the time "in the box" , I use ableton live since the very early days , and my favourite plugins are Arturia Mini V for basslines and Sylenth for synths and weird shit...



-How and when did you first discover Dirtybird?

I've heard about Dirtybird with "Who is fraid of Detroit" by the boss Claude Vonstroke . It was a big hit at that time , I use to listen more hard styles as that pumping techno was on fire in the place i grew up . But probably that track and others with that minimal feel pushed me a few years back to explore the sound is my trademark of today.

-Which Dirtybird artist would you want to collaborate with the most?

Of course Vonstroke I'm also in love with Lubelski , Catz n' Dogz and also Steve Darko Productions . All of them love weird synths , details and fat basslines ... so can be a good mix.

-If your entire life was a movie, what title would best describe you?

"The Pursuit of Happiness". If you have a goal in life, don't stop working until you achieve it and never let anyone tell you that you can't do it.

-What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?

Hansz Zimmer Live and Metallica were amazing last year in Barcelona.

-If you could time travel, where and when would you go?

Probably a few months back to trying to alert the world that something was coming upon us... Surely they would put me on a psychiatric ...

-What species of bird best describes you and why?

Woodpecker

-What does Dirtybird mean to you?

Dirtybird is freedom .. they don't follow trends. It has funk, fat basslines, and weird synths that blow your mind.

I would go to the original Plamp Stream and burn it to the ground. Plamp is taking over my life.
