Je m'appelle Kirara, productrice, Dj et Drag Queen performeuse originaire de la région Niçoise. Ça fait maintenant 5 ans que je fais du son à Lyon, aux côtés de Métanoïa et de la House of Briantz, deux collectifs dans lesquels j'ai pu m'épanouir et grâce à qui j'en suis là today. 

Aujourd'hui je me faufile sur les meilleures scène de la régions (et du pays !) et j'en suis super fière ; j'ai l'impression de faire un truc cool pour ma communauté et ça fait grave plaiz !

🔸 𝘿𝙚𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙩𝙨 𝙚𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 ?

40 en même temps ! Mais le projet que j'ai le plus hâte de vous montrer c'est l'album que je suis entrain de terminer ! C'est pas ultra facile de monter ce genre de chose avec une toute petite team et en indé, mais ça rend le projet encore plus symbolique ! 

Il y a aussi des dates assez MASSIVES qui se profilent sur mon agenda, genre des dates qui font archi peur. Mais j'ai juste trop hâte d'entrer dans ce futur ou juste je pose du son avec mes soeurs et mes copines avec moi, sur des giga scènes de re-sta.

Corymb, Unit Soeurs, la Convergence des sluts,... Des collectifs qui restent fidèles à eux-mêmes et qui ont gravé les valeurs de la fête qu'on défend dans leur code d'honneur : des espaces plus safe, parité et diversité dans les progras, de la musiques pour tous.tes <3

Mais pour aller plus loin, j'aimerais bien voir plus de variété musicale. Surtout de la Bass music !! Genre Uk Garage, Breakbeat, Jungle, DnB, Dub, Grime, IDM....
Ça me frustre parfois de ne pas pouvoir proposer ça où je le souhaite, mais ça viendra :)

DJ et productrice queer lyonnaise, membre moteur de deux collectifs essentiels de la vie nocturne de la capitale des Gaules, House of Briantz et Métanoïa, Kirara est une artiste multi-facettes, s’étant notamment faite remarquer par ses performances aux Nuits Sonores 2023, mais aussi à La Darude, au Rex Club ou lors de la Boiler Room lyonnaise à la Halle Tony Garnier.
DJ drag ou drag DJ, peu importe, quand elle est perchée sur des stilettos, sa musique devient aussi provocatrice que son costume: breaks exaltants, pointes d’acid, parfums ghettotech, un peu de UK jungle par çi et un peu de Detroit house par là : la recette idéale pour imposer la danse et les sourires au public, devant et derrière le booth. C’est en prônant une fête queer et diverse que Kirara fait trembler chaque dancefloor qu’elle croise, défendant une musique électronique variée, pointue, féminine et assurément club.

Technopol Mix 103 | Kirara

Diva Lyonnaise aux selectas ultra rythmés, Kirara envahis Venus Club pour un nouvel épisode d’Osmose cast intitulé « Diplomatie Extraterrestre ». La performeuse laisse de coté sa ghetto-tech habituelle pour raconter une histoire sur un set aussi cinématique qu’exalté; opposant mélodies, voix et mantras à des breaks intenses, texturés et mécaniques tout droit venus d’une galaxie lointaine. Ici le storytelling est de mise: la sélection musicale ainsi que le champ lexical de la tracklist évoquent l’intensité d’un space opera où l’humanité tente de résoudre un conflit avec une civilisation alien.
