It has been quite some time since the last time we gathered for a night of MBTS. I wanted to take some time after the pandemic to be quiet and see how the dance music scene would evolve, and what sounds would come out of the standstill that was Covid. Now that I have a good sense of where I want to be sonically, and what kind of energy I want to spread onto dance floors, I am ready to restart MBTS in 2023. Burning Man is one of those experiences that are hard (impossible) to describe when you have not been there yourself. It feels as being on another planet for a week. It feels like home. Super grateful to have been part of this journey, meeting tons of wonderful people, being hosted at the incredible Camp Alborz and experiencing true bliss every moment of the day/night. Playing 8 gigs at my first Burn was both exhausting and satisfying at the same time. Enjoy this 2 hour recording at my home camp :) <3

Kirby K lives in  Vail, Colorado & has family affiliates with Altitude Anonymous. He has supported the likes of Thugfucker, Christian Loffler, Rampue, Nico Stojan, Mano le Tough, The Scumfrog, Bedouin, Dj THREE, Oona Dahl, Kenny Larkin, BehrouZ, Blond:ish, Atish, Jon Charnis, Billy Caso, Steve Lawler, Oceanvs Orientalis, Lost Desert, Dance Spirit, Christian Martin, Lee Coombs, Bells and Whistles, Bushwacka, Mark Farina, Tara Brooks and Dj Kramer amongst others.
Blessed with a deeply ingrained knowledge of Organic House and Deep Techno , Kirby K's own DJ journey can be traced back to the early-90s in Denver, Colorado. Respected underground staple in the scene well known both on the Playa and off. Kirby soon followed with appearances at festivals like Nevada’s legendary Burning Man, Zero Point and Colorado's Altitude Anonymous Copper Mountain Festival, DWS and Snowball.
Both a true DJs DJ and a people’s favourite, Kirby's popularity has spiralled in the years since. his individual mix (Life Shake) shifted seamlessly through Deep house and Deep Tec house genres and was crafted with deep meaningful grooves that his fans have come to love and know him for.
