Limerence (Meet Me There)

For a uni assignment, we had to write a song song that was under 2 minutes, so here is mine :) I actually fell in love with this song during the writing process, so I will most likely re-visit it and make it longer in the future. 
I feel like people fall into different categories, sometimes more than one. And I think that I fall into the category of the hopeless romantics. I’m sure a lot of you do too. Now, the tricky thing about us hopeless romantics is that when we dream, or we fall in love, we do it hard. And wholeheartedly. And regrettably too easily. This is a song about that. About when you know that something isn’t possible, you know it isn’t meant to be, you know that it can’t happen. But still, the hopeless romantic inside of you won’t let go of that tiny glimmer of hope that says “Maybe…”

This is a song about being in love with someone that you know you shouldn’t.
