On November 3rd Desert Trax presents Ayahuasca Remixed from Brazilian-born artist Poranguí Carvalho McGrew, translated and remixed through the lenses of visionary producers like Shamans Dream,AtYyA, Drumspyder, Kaminanda,Liquid Bloom, Numatik, Yaima, and many others. These 11 tracks were born from a prayer to bridge worlds from the consciousness of the master plant medicine onto the dance floor. It came to life through the meeting and friendship with musician and producer Sahuna Love (Shaman's Dream), and blossomed with the help of Amani Friend (Desert Dwellers & Desert Trax). Each song weaves the medicine of the original, while beckoning listeners to explore and express their prayers or meditations through embodied movement. After almost 5 years of traveling, I found my base in Amsterdam, where these tracks were creating during the last winter months.

An appreciation for the change of seasons, the beauty of winter and warm and cozy feelings of being inside in front of the stove were felt during the process of creating this EP, as well as integration of experiences from traveling. (and it goes much deeper than that ;)

These more ambient musical compositions incorporate nature sounds, soothing synths, flutes, chimes, bells and samples of African and Native American chants. These simple yet powerful compositions are designed to evoke feelings of peace, tranquility, connection and bliss within the listener and come from a place of pure love and drive to create.
