This song was born out of an improvisational piece by my dear friend Emma Day: she simply played a progression of chords on her harp, that I fell in love with instantly. Life got in the way and I couldn't develop it into a song right away. The time has finally arrived

The Light Within Your Heart (with Emma and Spektralfarben)

Here comes a video for a soft and dreamy song Spektralfarben and I created some time ago. The lyrics are in French and they tell the story of an angel who lost her wings to a human she trusted but she is now building herself a new pair. Angels belong to the sky, humans belong to the earth.

I have the huge pleasure to present to you a very special baby of ours!🤘😀🤘 It's a monster of a tune, an alternative rock song that I wrote FOUR years ago. Alf made a superb instrumental arrangement for it and all that was left was for me to record the vocals.
Because it was born from my personal story of abuse, it was hard for me to see the production of this song through. However, the past events from my life gave me the necessary impulse to record the vocals and organize myself for filming. It was more important now than ever to release this energy into the world.
So this song is for all those who survived abuse, and then were told to just "forgive" their abuser. Don't worry if you couldn't! Forgiveness is not in our human nature... unless it's accompanied by justice.

This song was born out of the Spanish text of a good friend. Back then, it was called "Tenemos El Sol". I came out with a top line for the lyrics and Alf (Spektralfarben) built the instrumental. I loved the final result so much that, whenever I got invited to sing on a stage, I would always put it on my set list. 
After many years I've decided to adapt this beautiful song into another language. As it often happens, songs have a mind of their own and this one was no different: it wouldn't let itself be adapted into English, no matter how much I tried! Instead, German was the chosen language and so "Du bist meine Sonne" was born, a whimsical mix between a philosophical pondering on art, music and the realities of the modern world, and a love song.
