Waiting For The Moon

This is a redo of the song "May Becomes June", which I posted in June of 2020 - just as everyone was beginning to realize that the pandemic lockdown was going to last a lot longer than we first thought.
Nothing was going on at that point. We didn't even go to the grocery store - instead we picked up necessities at Wal-Mart and never left the car.
It is difficult to describe the feeling of those times.   I can't even come up with the right adjectives.  They came out in this song. 

So... switch to November of 2024.   Recent political events in the US have resulted in a return to That Same Feeling.

Jo's lyrics sounded sad to me.  What began as a sad folk song gradually evolved into a full blown cry-in-your-beer country song - with crying steel guitar.  I don't know the first thing about playing a steel guitar so I had to sort of trust my ears.
