Jitterbuggin' Out

TL;DR: I produce hip hop. Hung with indie friend who says I don't make real music anymore. Made this song in an hour. 

I primarily produce Hip-Hop; but a long time friend of mine is more into traditional music.  We live in FL and were cruising around the countryside drinking beer and envisioned this Doo-Wop/Folk style song with that whole big band feel.  Didn't think anything of it, we're always making up songs.  The next day he asked me, "Why don't you make 'real music' anymore?" -- so I sat down in between beats and whipped together the song we imagined.  It took less than an hour and I'm still not quite sure what the lyrics are but it felt so good and natural to write.  They say the best songs are written in less than an hour.  I feel this is one of them.  Figure I won't ever do anything with this song and it was a lot of fun making, may as well take a leap of faith and see if any others agree. Thank you.

You can take this instrumental, and insert it in ANY chase scene, in movie, and television history, and it's a PERFECT fit. This is an uptempo, fun, instrumental that hits right away. It's named "It's The Cops" because when you hear it, it takes you to great chase scenes with the police in hot pursuit of the bad guys. It's filled with Jazzy brass, and flutes, and a swinging saxophone. The organ jumps in and out, and trades places with the funky wah guitar. And the drums/percussion really give the instrumental its drive. Drums, bongos, congas, and tambourines all work together with that bumping bass that rounds out the cool rhythm.
