وَبَشِّرِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ فَضۡلٗا كَبِيرٗا (47)
سورة الأحزاب       

نقول في الدعاء: اللهم عاملنا بالفضل لا بالعدل؛ لأن العدل أن تأخذ الجزاء المساوي للعمل، أو تأخذ حقك، أمَّا الفضل فأنْ تأخذ فوق حقك وزيادة، ومن ذلك قوله تعالى: {أية :  
قُلْ بِفَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ فَبِذَلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُواْ ..} تفسير : [يونس: 58]. 
 
ويقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: حديث : 
"لن يدخل أحد منكم الجنة بعمله" قالوا: ولا أنت يا رسول الله؟ قال: "ولا أنا إلا أن يتغمدني الله برحمته" تفسير : لأنني حين أحسب عملي مقابل ما أعطاني ربي من نِعَم قبل أنْ أُخلق، وإلى أن أبلغ وأُكلَّف، أجد أنني لو قضيتُ حياتي كلها في طاعة ربي ما وفَّيتُ بحقه عليَّ. 
 
ثم من ناحية أخرى تجد أن العبادة والطاعة نفعُها يعود إليك أنت، ولا ينتفع الله تعالى منها بشيء، فإذا كانت الطاعة والعبادة يعود نفعها إليك، إذن: فالثواب عليها يكون فضلاً من الله.

Disperse the enemies, of the Church, and fortify her, that she may not be shaken forever.

+ Emmanuel our God, is now in our midst, with the glory of His Father, and the Holy Spirit.

May He bless us all, and purify our hearts, and heal the sicknesses, of our souls and bodies,
