Joris Voorn's Spectrum imprint continues its mission to spotlight visionary electronic music with the debut of Dutch producer Tim van Werd, who delivers a cinematic two-track EP: 'View From Space.' A release inspired by the awe of the cosmos and the humbling perspective of orbit. 

The title track, 'View From Space,' draws on the powerful words of Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield, whose reflections from orbit sparked the theme of the EP. Glistening chimes and warm, enveloping rhythms capture the beauty of Earth as seen from above, a fragile, shared home suspended in the blackness of space. It's a meditation on unity, wonder, and the stillness of perspective.

The journey continues with 'Jupiter', a bold musical leap into the outer solar system. Swirling pads and expansive textures echo the eternal storms and timeless energy of the gas giant. It's a piece that explores scale, a soundtrack to drifting past something ancient, unknowable, and infinitely vast. A reminder of our place in the universe, and the power of sound to express the inexpressible. 

With View From Space, Tim van Werd delivers an emotionally resonant debut. A perfect fit for the Spectrum ethos of music with meaning, mood, and magnitude.

The way is paved with simplicity but it demands great effort. The key is to look within yourself. Do not ask questions, do not look for answers, do not judge. Just observe look so as to get closer to your inner core. Let go of all fears and all expectations. Do not parasite your thoughts with those. To be able to break the duality within you, it is primordial that you clear your mind from millions of years of cultural conditioning. Your inner core contains the whole universe. Once you make one with that inner core, you ultimately make one with the vibrational frequency of the universe. That vibrational frequency is commonly known as truth. The ultimate volatile ever changing truth. And let it be known that truth is just another terminology for freedom. Absolute, wholehearted, blissful freedom. The one we dare not dream of because of the overwhelming effect it has on our constricted minds. SO for us to attain truth or freedom or whatever you might call the state where there are no boundaries set to limit our ability to create, we NEED to observe ourselves.
