To kick this next phase off I couldn't think of a better artist to do so, Plant43.
Emile has been a long time friend and ally of Plex & Colony and this is a live set from 10 years back at the 1st P/C/B party we did along with Bleed. 
Despite personal troubles for me on the day I look back at this line-up in awe still, it was right up there with the best of them!

Recorded at 5am in room 2 after Pangaea just torn the place apart with a  blistering 3hr workout. It's a beautifully crafted spacey electro live set that flows perfectly from start to finish, just as you would expect from a master of this sound. Thanks Emile and I hope you all enjoy!

Nace un nuevo proyecto radiofónico, otro más del millón y medio que habrá ya. Nace, como todos, con la vocación de entretener; este lo consigue…es un producto electromagnética 😎. 

Su target se dirige al público que profundiza o simplemente disfruta el género ambient en su más absoluta extensión, acotando para su selección musical los lanzamientos mas actuales y destacados por su calidad o relevancia. Es una necesidad radiofónica que no está cubierta, no nos consta programa en castellano que se dedique a ello ad hoc. Pues nada, se hace y se goza haciéndolo; de nada 😌. 

La idea es que sirva de magazine sobre el género, resaltando los highlights y bajando el radar hasta los releases más desconocidos. Es narrado claro, sin cuerdas vocales humanas no sería radio si no una sesión; eso si, turra la justa; dicho esto creemos que a este tipo de música le sienta bien el contexto y un breve espoiler de lo que viene, ayuda a enfocar y dar valor a una música que por naturaleza se parió para acompañar y sonorizar en segundo plano. Pero vamos, que sobre todo es que se hace un musicón de escándalo, mejor que nunca, y hay que darle valor de la manera que a la música le gusta, escuchándola de manera activa. 

Su periodicidad será mensual y se emitirá el segundo domingo de cada mes, por la mañana, que es el momento de la semana más lúcido de todos; ya sea por lo sobrio o sobria que estes, ya sea por lo contrario. Tan válidas y tan reales tanto una como otra.

Perfectly suited for your naked body’s temperature, this Balearic soul, 4th world enthusiast and weird-wave seeker is here to really mess you up. Firmly rooted in cosmic, kraut, and tropic dance heritage, he cruises for any well-crafted and uncanny melodies that induce melancholic euphoria. You’ll hear it here first.
 
Hailing from Serbia where he left a confused havoc on the dancefloor for years, then left for Shanghai where he’s playing at it’s finest, Elevator, All, Heim and Alter parties.
 
The circus is in town, act accordingly.

Balearic soul, 4th world enthusiast and weird-wave seeker. Firmly rooted in cosmic, kraut, and tropic dance heritage, he cruises for any well-crafted and uncanny melodies that induces melancholic euphoria. Deep into Yugoslavian gems, and oddball from all around, he plays depending on the occasion but mostly with the same ingredients – tropic percussion, woodwind and brass, sleazy synths, atmospheric vocals, early and contemporary electronica.   

As part of Putnik crew in Belgrade, Serbia, he hosted and played with sonic wackos like Beau Wanzer, Aïsha Devi, André Pahl, Nightmares on Wax, Vladimir Ivković. For the last 5 years he is based in Shanghai and he hosted yearly event Orthodox Tempo in club All.

Hjärngymnastik is a cratedigger project which aims to dig up and play electronic music released prior to the year 2000.  Styles such as Detroit Techno, IDM, Acid, Electro, Ambient, Bleep, Breakbeat, Jungle, New Beat, Deep House and many neighbouring styles will be heard in these sets.

Each sunday I'll be posting an hour of my selections. Some episodes will include guest mixes from excellent contributors - DJs, producers, record collectors and music enthusiasts. Within the same episode, the guest mix will be heard first followed by mine. A random drawing of brains conducting some kind of suspicious activity will of course accompany the set.
