🧪KIRRIN is the architect of Kislo's sound and line-ups, curator of the "kislo dance!" music programme on SoundCloud.

his arsenal includes the most hostile selections of EBM, acid, industrial, post-punk and wave, with cold synth melodies and rhythmic percussion creating an ominous beauty that plunges you into the depths of your own mind, alone with your fears.

KIRRIN regularly appears in line-ups of the local electronic music scene and has already performed at Arma, RNDM, Samoobman, Neurotic Club; Blank and Griboedov in St. Petersburg. he frequently appears on the radio shows such as komrad and HKCR and has made a name for himself with his mixes on Moscow-based RESOmix, Kurs Radio and PRGRPHS.

AGNETS is a young electronic music producer and regular guest at Resonance Moscow parties. the artist is constantly searching for new musical forms and sounds.

AGNETS' distinctive style is characterised by emotive vocals overlaid with deconstructed electronics. he has performed this style many times at Mutabor, RNDM, Pole, Arma and other Moscow clubs, as well as at Popoff Kitchen parties.

in this mix, the artist has collected raw, fragmented electronic music. the sound is mechanistic but not dry; quite the contrary, it is rich and sometimes even oversaturated with detail and texture. at times, everything descends into chaotic madness before being put back together in a clear rhythmic pattern.

Fracture Mara is the project of Alexander Ponomaryov, a Moscow-based sound designer and DAWless live artist who is a resident of KISLO and oramica.online.

the main focus of his work is the fusion of club music and folklore motifs. having grown up on Baikal, Fracture Mara absorbed the sound environment of Olkhon Island and the shamanic rituals of the north, both of which are reflected in his music.

not only is this the first live performance in our podcast, it is also a full livecast — a recording from our party at Blank in St. Petersburg.

"this performative dance live set is designed to bring new sounds and formats to the Russian electronic scene, intertwining rich percussion, deep bass and vocal samples, drawing inspiration from declub, techno, baile funk and Asian club culture to create a certified club banger."

shetookmycandies is an angry, frustrated girl who transforms her experiences into sonic experiments.

she is a cry of teenage feelings, shattered hopes, and an attempt to reassemble amidst torn rhythms and dirty bass.

techno, gabber, breakbeat, and ghetto techno are woven into a chaotic yet honest soundtrack for those who still believe in love but have learned to fight.

"this mix starts with a spring vibe — light groove, life, movement, and a sense of hope.


but I wouldn't be myself if I didn't take listeners on a roller coaster ride of moods, so gradually, everything twists into darker and dirtier forms. the rhythms become sharper, and the sounds become tenser and creakier. breakbeat tears the structure, techno crushes with heaviness, witch house fills with mysticism, and gabber bursts in without warning." it's a contrasting mix — from light movement to chaotic tension, where every turn hides a new blow."

hailing from Surgut, YoGrace is a Moscow-based producer and DJ whose work, despite his northern disposition, sparkles with sunny rhythms and captivates with a rocking drumbeat.

this podcast tells a story of inner light through complex grooves and playful melodic patterns.

"i've collected a lot of music that I listen to myself. i wanted to create something life-affirming because i'm inspired by what's happening in my life right now. many new contacts and projects are being established, and my mix conveys these emotions well.

i chose hardgroove as a basis because I've been really into it for the last year. I've also incorporated hard house and broken rhythms."

we're starting our guest mix series with mishxn — artist, producer, and DJ. He's a resident of Resonance Moscow and the founder of his own label, oramica.online.
In 2024, Mikhail performed a live set at Signal Festival as part of the Resonance showcase and was featured in the music zine by Blueprint x Yandex Music.

For this mix, mishxn stays true to his love for post-club sounds, diving deep into the edges of extreme genres:

“I put together a high-speed mix full of my fave saved tracks — the kind dancefloors are not ready for. Expect a contrast shower of chaotic breaks and emotional intensity.”

on Friday the 13th, we will share the thirteenth mix in our collection. It was recorded for us by Volchok resident and Kurs radio show participant "Demons of Sadness."

Sem Smirnov is a Moscow DJ who represents genres such as EBM, new beat, techno, and cold wave. He is also known as a skateboarder and snowboarder. For the last two seasons, he performed on the skate stage at the Outline Festival.

the artist provided a brief statement that reflects his style:

"In this mix, I want to convey the energy of dance with a touch of darkness.

welcome with warmth the 14th release in our collection, recorded for us by Dob-S. Sergey Dobrovolsky is a DJ from Rostov-on-Don, curator and cultural activist. he is the founder of LKM club, co-organizes ERROR_404 raves and is a resident of Resonance Moscow.

Dob-S is about drama, groove and freedom of sound. in his sets he prefers techno, breaks and softfield sound without templates.

"It happened on the UNDER dance floor at ARMA17, a place we once fell in love with and still love today.
It was a Shift party by the Subspace crew.
I was shutting down the dance floor with music ranging from 138 to 172 BPM. Full house. No one wanted to leave.
It was one of the most special moments of this spring for me."

eviol is a DJ, vinyl digger and music researcher originally from Omsk, now based in Moscow. former member of Moscow promo communities BECK and Temple de Plastique. Vlad has made his mark with his dj sets in most of the biggest clubs at parties all over Russia - from Omsk and Kirov to Moscow and St Petersburg.

the geography of his performances extends far beyond Russia: he has played in Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and China, and his music is enjoyed by listeners in different corners of the world.

eviol actively shares his energy through radio, with his mixes having been heard on RRC and Kurs Radio, as well as international platforms such as NOH Radio (Istanbul) and Moth Radio (Hong Kong). now he runs the author's programme Tribaltansi on Komrad.net, where he presents and supports local artists.

Everything I do, I do for Chicago, inspired by Chicago, in debt to Chicago. The birthplace of house music, my home, my muse, the place where I discovered my sound and the sounds of many others both past and present that I do my best to show reverence to. I grew up a punk rocker and noise music freak on the east coast of the USA in a place where money was killing culture, I found Chicago at a time in my life where I was open and ready for something new and special. I found clubs and spaces and parties that were for people like me, outsiders and freaks coming from every scene and genre imaginable packing into loud rooms to dance.

I started making “dance” music (if you can even call it that) to try and keep alive the sounds that made me feel at home here. House music and industrial music and techno music and punk music all coming together to create something deeply unique that only a place like Chicago could help create. I hope that the music I make can inspire even those on the most outside edges of whatever we understand to be electronic music to feel like there is something between all the hard lines of genre for them….wherever they may be. 

This mix is an all vinyl exploration through some newer corners of my collection, loosely mixed and very raw and live recorded through one of my barely  working dj mixers from the mid 1990s into an old tape deck. An ode to old mix cassettes I’ve found recorded from radio shows in the 1980s like the hot- mix-5 on WBMX here in Chicago. Much love and I hope you enjoy it.

CPSL is a project by Resonance team resident Masha Veretennikova. the artist has released tracks on Russian and international labels, including Clipp.art, Get Busy, Weird Nights, Resonance, Dionysian Mysteries, Deitroit Underground, and many others. Masha also frequently collaborates with Western musicians and hosts her own show on London radio station Threads.

in her live performances, Masha extracts cold, minimalist sounds from Elektron synthesizers, while her DJ sets tear the dance floor apart with her signature selection of electro and techno.
