Max Ctrl is a predominantly Techno and House-focused DJ based in the North West of England.

He has been a regular face of the North West’s underground rave scene since his introduction to it in his teens.
In recent years he has begun to hone his craft and develop his own individual style of DJing, which can now be described as raw, rough and ready, upbeat mixing packed with flavour. He tries to distance himself from the story-telling, journey-esque mixing that has become so prominent in recent years, instead focusing on keeping his sets enigmatic and dynamic.

Max draws key influence from the 1st and 2nd generations of Detroit & Chicago artists, as well as many European artists who emerged over the mid to late 90s. Although being principally focused on Techno and House, Max’s library freely spans a depth of genres, with it also playing host to quantities of UKG and Jungle, to name but a couple.

For the first of our Kiss + Tell Invites: Series, Rogan hits us with a 1 hour mix of relentless energy and intricate layering of various threads from the modern day weave of underground dance music.

Seamlessly blending industrial and rhythmic elements with abstract psychedelic soundscapes with his unique but refined mixing abilities; Rogan’s genre-bending set is one that is as much of a rhythmic and immersive journey as it is a playful and enigmatic one.

Amniote Editions teams up with Mala Junta to release “The Collective Capsule” in celebration of 5th anniversary of Berlin’s favourite queer event.

“The Collective Capsule” is a celebration and tribute to the unique Mala Junta and it’s impact on Berlin’s vibrant contemporary queer scene as well as a reflection of the core principles of these two collectives, which serve as a mirror for the society we want to push forward.

The package features a 12″ vinyl record composed of 4 tracks from Mala Junta’s residents Hyperaktivist, Yazzus, DJ Tool, and D.Dan, as well as two compilations featuring Roza Terenzi, Jensen Interceptor, Mohajer, Peachlyfe, Francois X, Narciss to name a few..

The Collective Capsule Compilation Vol. 1 emerges on Amniote Editions on 23rd June.
