Gab Gordon and I got together one day in 2005 to record a track, 
This time around, the inspiration was let's be straight to the point, let's go punk for the format, if everyhthing is said in one verse then be it. Repeat it twice and we'll have a catchy 1'30 song. And so we hit that chord, dubed it. Got the bass in there, Marchac programmed a drum pattern and what came to mind was that "Life is wonderful, just so incredible".
The title was a distant reference to "I want you (she's so heavy)" from the Beatles' Abbey Road album and the voice tone was a secret tribute to Freddy Mercury!

Ce morceau décrit le processus créatif.

Le déroulement qui va de l'idée qui vous réveille la nuit, à sa réalisation les jours suivants, le tâtonnement, les avancées fulgurantes ou ralenties, la fin que l'on aperçoit et enfin le moment où l'on sait que l'on est allez aussi loin que possible avec une idée.

Ce n'est pas un morceau pour les puristes: il a été composé sur
I-phone SE dans garageband.
Oui j'ai activé l'arpeggiato!
J'ai découvert l'app il y a 4 jours.
j'ai trouvé un son et une configuration qui me plaisait. Je me suis mis en Fa# et en tonalité mineure. Ensuite je suis toujours fan de basses que ce soit en guitare ou en piano.
C'est comme un ancrage. Ici, il sert bien le thème, la main gauche peut s'apparenter à ce qui ralenti la création, ce qui la bribe. Que ce soit un doute, l'éducation. Heureusement, l'expression artistique est un terrain formidable pour s'affranchir de nos incertitudes, de nos certitudes aussi, et créer un langage positif qui renouvelle la même excitation qu'un enfant devant un sapin de Noël.

Je suis revenu à l'app, plusieurs fois par jour. J'ai trouvé le thème principal rapidement, mais il m'a fallu une dizaine de sessions, d'environ 10 min. chacune, pour trouver une idée d'intro, de fin, trouver les enchaînements.
 
J'aimerai confier ce morceau à un(e) concertiste et le voir jouer en live.

Feeling Low Down - Boogers rmx

I made an instrumental demo a few years ago and the sound clearly reminded me of an Elton John tune.

I was having a look through my demos today and tried finding lyrics to this track.
I wasn't getting anywhere interesting so I had a quick look at Elton acapellas.
I've never tried mashup, so here's my first shot at it!

"Can you feel" seemed to have similar speed, so I stuck with this.
Did a little edit and pitched Elton.

The whole thing is cheezy but great fun to make!
