Meu primeiro contato com o som de Stephan Bodzin foi entre 2008 e 2010. Mesmo afastado da produção musical na época, seguia pesquisando e catalogando músicas e artistas. Suas primeiras faixas como Ferdinand / Phobos me marcaram profundamente, com aquela sonoridade espacial e minimalista.

Anos depois, ao ouvir o remix de Sleepless (Pan-Pot), reconheci de imediato sua assinatura sonora. Redescobri Bodzin, revisitei minhas playlists e, com a ajuda de um amigo fã, me reconectei com Singularity — que já conhecia sem saber.

Em abril de 2024, finalmente assisti a um live dele em Campinas. Foi uma experiência transcendental. Em meio a tantos nomes do mainstream, Bodzin se destacou com uma condução profunda e xamânica. Após o show, mergulhei em seu álbum Boavista, base do set apresentado.

Esta minha versão de Boavista é uma homenagem a esse gênio da música eletrônica e integra meu novo repertório, ao lado de produções próprias e remixes exclusivos.

Mi primer contacto con el sonido de Stephan Bodzin fue entre 2008 y 2010. Aunque estaba alejado de la producción musical en esa época, seguía investigando y coleccionando música y artistas. Sus primeras obras como Ferdinand / Phobos me impactaron con su sonido espacial y minimalista.

Años después, al escuchar el remix de Sleepless (Pan-Pot), reconocí al instante su firma sonora. Volví a explorar su música y, con la ayuda de un amigo fan, redescubrí Singularity, que ya conocía sin saberlo.

En abril de 2024 lo vi en vivo en Campinas. Fue una experiencia profunda. Entre tantos artistas del mainstream, Bodzin destacó con una presencia hipnótica y casi chamánica. Luego del show, exploré su álbum Boavista, que fue la base del set.

Mi versión de Boavista es un homenaje a este genio de la música electrónica y forma parte de mi nuevo repertorio junto con producciones propias y remixes.

I first discovered Stephan Bodzin’s sound around 2008–2010. Though not producing music at the time, I was always listening, researching, and collecting tracks and artists. His early work as Ferdinand / Phobos struck me with its spacey, robotic minimalism.

Years later, hearing his Sleepless (Pan-Pot) remix, I instantly recognized his sonic signature. I dove back into my playlists, and with a friend’s help, reconnected with Singularity — a track I already loved unknowingly.

In April 2024, I finally saw him live in Campinas. The experience was powerful. Among many mainstream names, Bodzin’s performance stood out — deep, immersive, almost shamanic. Afterward, I explored his Boavista album, which shaped the set.

This version of Boavista is my tribute to this musical genius. It’s now part of my live sets, alongside original tracks and exclusive remixes.

The latest offering from RKP finds label boss Ruben Karapetyan returning for a new single. Since returning to the world of electronic music in 2020, Armenia born, Los Angeles based artist Ruben Karapetyan has enjoyed a meteoric rise to prominence in the progressive house arena. With a sound that carefully balances a retro-modern style, Ruben has racked up a superlative string of releases for a host of revered imprints in Mango Alley, Clubsonica and The Soundgarden, in turn earning praise from the genre’s tastemakers. Seemingly in perpetual motion across 2024 while performing alongside Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Now as 2025 approaches its second quarter, Ruben returns to his RKP imprint for his first single of the year ‘Moai’, alongside remixes from Hernan Cattaneo & Mercurio, Maze 28 and MakhmuriaN.

Returning to the label for the second interpretation of ‘Moai’ is Maze 28. Hailing from Albania, Mario Zefi aka Maze 28 has become one of the most hotly tipped progressive house artists that the underground has to offer. In just three short years the Durres resident has earned support from genre tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while his melodic creations have found a home on Clubsonica, Juicebox Music and Mango Alley, the latter of which operates as his primary home. RKP has also been a landing spot for the talented Albanian, with October of 2023 marking his label debut with ‘This Is Just a Dream’. Remixed by Hernan Cattaneo and Marcelo Vasami, the track quickly rose to the number one position in both the label and artist’s Beatport sellers, where it still sits today. 2024 would see Maze 28 deliver his first original production for RKP, August’s timeless chart breaker ‘Red Lights From Afar’. Now, returning for his second remix, the Albanian talent puts his distinctive stamp on ‘Moai’. Bringing a contemporary state of mind, Maze 28 reassembles the themes from the original for his own uniquely tailored approach. Granular hits, haunting vocal motifs and a finale of balmy melodies co-ax perfectly atop muscular kick drums and key changing grooves, for what results in a tasteful rendition that’s perfect for the dancefloor.
