Every year a tribe of nomadic, aquatic, music-loving, sun-kissed people gather on the Red Sea to celebrate life. For 7 days without network and nothing above us but blue skies in the day and a blanket of stars by night , we dance. Here' s what my part sounded like :)

It's been a super tough year for me coming out of these strange post apocalyptic feeling times with covid affecting most of us artists. I've almost lost all inspiration but recently something clicked . Back into production, and experimenting with newer sounds. This set was recorded live at home to an audience of one, my beautiful partner i think she liked it. Still on the more dreamier side of things to continue my seaside vibe. The 2nd set coming up next week will be part of a new podcast going deeper into minimal and house, enjoy and please share the love :)

I don't put many sets up these days but since many of you are asking, here is the 3 hour warm up i did before Joris Voorn at The Grand Factory in Beirut for C U NXT SAT. He is one of my favorite artists so it was very special. Big ups to Jade and the C U NXT SAT crew for always supporting. Enjoy guys !

For those who know me and have heard me play over the past 20 years , many know i love to be versatile as a dj and producer and although my core is house music i absolutely hate to be labeled under one genre of underground electronica. Each moment, each city, each crowd has its own unique identity and beauty whether i'm playing an emotional sunset on a boat or a dark after hours room or a big club. 

In 2018, i've partially moved to be closer to what gives me the most serenity.........the sea where i will be fully dedicating my time to music. With this, i'm relaunching a monthly podcast under the name SEASIDE which explores all the sides of electronic music i enjoy which i hope you will too. 

For the first episode, this turned out to be a bit on the dreamy and melodic side filled with luscious pads, intricate melodies and beautiul moments [inspired by the sunrises and and sunsets i've been seeing lately]. I will also always try to include tracks from friends and talent from my region who i honestly am very proud of. This set includes tracks from Keinemusik, kevin De Serna, Noraj Cue, Celestial Strangers as well as good friends Zone + and Raxon. Share the love. PM me for download link.

Still very much inspired by my new move to live by the sea and with this i bring you the second episode of my newly launched monthly podcast SEASIDE. I recently played great gigs with Deep Like [Dubai] and Reunion [Beirut] so i've included some music that were fantastic on the dance floor. 

This installment begins with "Lost in the city" by my good friends and Cairo based "Fulltone" who really are quite inspiring. I'm so glad to see fantastic artists coming from the region and will always support the music. The set has a more percussive vibe than episode 1. Some selections include tracks and remixes by Henry Saiz, Sis, Love over entropy and Rampa who is killing it right now.

This one took a while but i finally got around to record it this week. This is episode 3 of my seaside podcast which i started this year after moving to live by the sea. For this instalment i started a bit slower than usual at about 110 bpm with a lot of the usual percussive elements that i love  as i draw inspiration from my surroundings.

 It does get a bit heavier as the set moves on with tracks by Ali Farahani, Tim Engelhardt, Satori, Sebastien leger and many more. 

On the gig front , i,m gearing up for a big summer with gigs in Cairo, Egypt's North Coast [Sahel], Beirut, Amman and Berlin. More dates TBA. I'm also spending more time in the studio and with fantastic musicians from the region. Will be a releasing a new track i collaborated on with Gouna based musician Akram Al Sharif.

For episode 004 , i recorded this with my Gouna family in mind so def starts pretty downtempo at 101 bpm building slowly 10 about 117 or so. I love experimenting with all genres of electronic music and being versatile with each set. Lately i've been inspired by a lot of talented musicians in Gouna where i currently reside by the sea, so this set sounds like the stuff we would listen to and/or jam to while hanging out by the water.

I've included tracks by Hot TuneiK, Armen Miran, Hot Oasis ,Love Over Entropy, Lee Burridge + Lost Desert and Timboletti. I also always try to include tracks from regional artists like my friends Boshoco with their beautiful track "Shawq".I hope you enjoy and don't forget , if you like it, share the love :)

Back with another episode of seaside inspired music. For the past 2 months i've had an amazing time playing over 25 gigs in at least 5 cities if i remember correctly. 

Although my sound live differs and is a bit harder and maybe darker , i like to keep this seaside podcast on the more dreamy side. This one in particular focus on beautiful pads and is slightly faster than the previous episodes featuring tracks by Kotelett & Zadak, Muui, Sabb, my friend Amine K and more.

"leïl" [which means "night" in arabic] is a podcast which basically picks up where seaside finishes and is all about that deeper darker melodic techno and house which i usually play at my night gigs.

It's been a few months since i've uploaded something new and after a busy winter of traveling and gigs, i'm finally back to living by the sea. For that, my podcast inspired by the sea is back with episode 007.

There's been some fantastic music coming out lately which i can't wait to try out. This is set is definitely on the dreamier side with super luscious pads and melodies ft. tracks by artists like Kora, &me, Timanti, Sebasiten Leger and one of my fav producers, Beirut based Rolbac just to name a few. 

On the gig front, i'm excited to be launching my first "Does Ya Mama Know" party on April 12th at CCC Cairo with Tunnelvisions, Ouzo and Shiha followed by some gigs in Amman, Beirut, Gouna and Sokhna, Egypt. I will also be playing the brilliant SANDBOX festival this year for the first time. Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible. Enjoy the set and share the love.
