So, when this talented discoverer of musical artifacts decided to use the Ancient Greek word for it as his moniker, he wasn’t just trying to name himself but mainly to come up with a precise definition for what he is and does as an artist.

Thus, Anacalypto can be many things at once, the main one being exactly what guides every single one of his initiatives and animates relentless dancing journeys: that perennial sense of wonder that tapping into the unknown brings into our lives.

My favorite Locomotion yet?? It's been a long time coming but finally had the extended club b3b with Merchant we've been waiting for ever since we played together for the first time. The result is my favorite journey yet - almost 7hrs of spiritual grooves & futuristic rides spanning every genre in our record collections.

Locomotion is about DJ artistry, the creative process & storytelling with music. Every month, I invite someone for an all night b2b DJ set and we go on a journey of spiritual grooves & futuristic rides, making you move like crazy.

The long set time allows us to play long tracks, not shying away from those 8-12min tracks, moving through emotions & genres like there are no boundaries.

Next episode of the selector series has arrived, this time hailing from Austria with @discoaldente . He is a record collector from Vienna with a focus on obscure Italo Disco and, besides running his own podcast series on soundcloud, has also released many of his mixes on your favourite music outlets. He contacted us for a mix and we were instantly on board, with the the assignment, as always, on the slower, later summer afternoon, garden-suitable selection for the original KS vibes!

We are more than excited that he hit right on target, delivering an hour full of warm tropical feel-good italo with a strong dose of steel drums, to lighten up your 'Lima la gris' or soundtrack your pool session, wherever you are. His set ranges from reggae-esque italo, cheesy Euro disco, through more synth-heavy, and exotic German Italo gems we really like, culminating with a fun cover of an all-time classic that can't get more summery. An Aussie-Ukrainian who grew up in the Alps but now calls London home. He's an avid vinyl collector of global disco and has released mixes for Maledetta Discoteca and Noods.

Here, he journeys through the afro-centric italo sounds to euro disco making it an uplifting hour for the italo heads to enjoy :)

José Manuel is an Italian DJ and producer based in Berlin. From a young age he has been collecting vinyl and listening to music genres like disco, funk, and afro. At the age of 16, José began deejaying in the clubs .His first release as producer was ‘El sonido de pamela’ released in 2006 on Eskimo Recordings . Since 2006 José Manuel has had many releases and collaborations with different labels such as Clandestino, Is It Balearic?, Music For Dreams, and Optimo Records – as well as his own records label , Harmonie Exotic focused on vinyl reissue and rare dance gems ( 80's-90's ) from the past , like the compilation " Milagros Del Ritmo "
As a DJ he played in the parties of: Cocktail D'amore - Buttons- Red Doors (Wilden Renate) Carnival of Rio De Janeiro .
Today his sound is electronic and disco, and his favorite music genres are Disco, Italo and tropical disco.
