Kites & Boomerangs was formed from a hodgepodge of influences in late January 2012 in the DFW area. Ranging from indie, blues, funk, folk, soul, and world music the band continues to search for expanding their pallet of approaches and sculpt new sounds. After consistently playing shows and writing material throughout the spring of 2012, K&B spent two, 10 hour long sessions at Nomad Recording Studios in Carrollton to record their debut album, Curiosity. The album is a 9 track celebration of original material and was mixed/produced by the band in a DIY fashion.The current lineup consists of multi-instrumentalists and vocalists, Will Appleton, Eoin Donovan, Josh Garcia and Donnie Simmons.

Lately, K&B has been writing new material and collaborating with various local bands to put on shows all over the metroplex. For booking or questions, just shoot us an email!
