Eskimo Recordings is proud to present the remixes of Rikki, the new single of London based disco advocate Blende. Following his breakthrough release Fake Love on Eskimo (played by A-Trak, Aeroplane, Yuksek, Dimitri from Paris and The Magician) he is now returning with this new unique effort of his own. ‘Rikki’ is a top of the line indie dance tune that once again serves up a generous dose of nu-disco, combining the old school with the new.

The original version of Rikki is already supported by A-Trak, The Aston Shuffle, Punks Jump Up, Gorgon City, Yuksek and Tensnake. We now give you The Remixes. This release includes a stellar line up of remixers, with Moonlight Matters (Kitsuné), Phonat (OWSLA), Le Crayon (Partyfine), French Horn Rebellion (Vitalic Noise) and Majestique (Eskimo) each giving a whole new twist to the original.

@Hotlane is a duo from Berlin. Agnes came from Stockholm a few years ago, Tobi has been djing at Berlin partys and clubs since the early 2000s. Regular DJ at #KingsizeBar and gallery happenings but mainly chilling at home, doing music.

"Whenever" is their second single. A smooth, summer, mid tempo song. Based on a guitar line that some of you might recognize... but in this new context this magic riff gets a new dimension. Agnes' sweet voice is floating over the straight house drums. Remixes for this one by magic @JamesCurd, former king of the #GreensKeepers label and über producer from Chicago. Now on #Exploited. Dusky's 17 Steps opens 2015 by welcoming its first signed artist to the label in the much-admired London producer Christian Piers. 

One half of Laszlo Dancehall with Leon Vynehall, Christian Piers' 'Beat Wiser EP' follows his recent single on Curle Recordings which has been supported by the likes of DVS1, Âme, Axel Bowman and Jonas Kopp.

A mainstay in Dusky's sets in recent months, the lead track 'Offf' is a monstrous techno drum track rewired with Roland Alpha Juno esque hoovers and sinister atmosphere, 'Offf' has proved a reliable dancefloor detonator on both big festival stages and intimate basements in recent months. 

A refreshing and dark take on classic acid, the EPs title track 'Beat Wiser' balances sharp, surging machine funk 303s with a tribal and organic percussion approach for a unique club tool. 

Closing the diverse EP, 'Onn' again draws on a tribal groove, this time set against looping, hypnotic techno soundscapes.

Following on from his debut self-titled album, Danish House extraordinaire Noir provides us with the record’s second single, ‘Let It Go’, featuring vocals from Caitlin. The single features a remix from Stuttgart’s Johannes Brecht, and two new versions from Noir himself, in the form of a ‘Raw Club Cut’ and a thumping Techno remix.  The Raw Club Cut gets down to business with Caitlin’s fervent vocal sitting on top of the hypnotic, stabbing lead line that keeps the rhythm flowing through the entirety of the track. Pulsing pads continue to build emotion that build to the song’s conclusion.   Johannes Brecht follows a different direction with a chilled beach jam, eminating a laid back bassline, chugging percussion and down tempo piano chords, topped by a warm pitched down vocal line.   The single is concluded by Noir’s ‘Long Gone’ Techno remix, an intelligent piece with attitude. Mechanical synth lines go up against the vocals, now chopped and twisted to reflect the vibe, all above the pounding kick drum.
