Out 5th September 2025, Eurostep & Reconeckt team up for PLSR’s eighth release, ‘Movement’, a chunkier late-night tech cut with swinging rhythms and low-end drive, backed by a slick Nicolas Caprile remix.

The original version hits with weight and attitude, built around bumpy percussion, glitchy textures, gritty synths and a vocal hook that sticks. Its swung groove gives it a distinct character, perfect for the darker hours of the night.

Nicolas Caprile takes a more streamlined approach on the remix, reshaping it into a terrace-ready groover. Stripped-back and rolling, his version leans on percussive flow and underground drive, offering DJs a versatile tool for keeping the floor locked.

PLSR, helmed by Californian duo Eurostep, continues to shape its reputation as a forward-thinking home for minimal and tech-driven sounds. The Adam Ten & Solomun-inspired rise in left-field dance music has filled the “Indie Dance” DJ charts with an influx of new producers. KEYTARBI is one of these rising stars that has caught our ears, her “Quito” cut delivering the kind of uptempo chug we want in a left-field set. The wonderfully oddball “Pancakes” is her debut for us. Featuring the spoken tones of legendary house vocalist Robert Owens. “It ain’t over,” he tells us, “until Bertha calls you into the kitchen, for some of her delicious pancakes.” We have no idea what he’s on about either, but with a groove this good, who needs anything to make sense? It’s just a banger!

German-born but Ibiza-based Defex steps up to Moon Harbour to remix label head Matthias Tanzmann's classic 2016 cut 'Chano.' His fantastic take on 'Chano' maintains some of the original carnival charm and percussive patter of the original but turns up the groove. The drums here are warm, bold and dubby as they drive on with luminous synth stabs, raw hits, and the curious vocal bringing off-beat charm.
