I originally wanted to do a TWR song, but I knew I'd never finish it, so I just did a stylized version, or however you call it, version of The Circus instead.
It may be my favorite song to compose about. The real Jevil fixation is coming back lol
I also wrote some French just because I felt like it, I'm starting to like speaking in my native language more on my socials :)

CAROUSEL ABYSS

An attempt to create a battle theme out of "d.ogg" from Deltarune. Definitely not an original idea, but I had fun. (Also, I ran out of ideas after a certain point...)

I was HOPING to get this out before v2, but I couldn't squeeze it out in time. Many such cases!
Nonetheless, this is probably one of my favorite covers I've ever done! BATW is such a catchy track and I loved being able to do my own take on it!
I think my favorite part of this one is the Lantern section, which I think is saying a lot because that section is probably my LEAST favorite part of the original. It's not bad by any means, of course, I just think it isn't as strong as the rest of the track. I think I managed to do it justice though!
Fun fact: originally, for the Lantern section, I was gonna have a complete tonal switch, where it changed to a super realistic piano VST (or maybe even a live performance...), but I couldn't find a way to integrate it smoothly enough into the rest of the song. Maybe one day we'll get the Live take!
Fun fact 2: I made a deliberate decision to not use the Chrono Trigger piano OR any orchestra hits in this track! Both great instruments, but I find that they're a bit overused in covers of this track and wanted to challenge myself to use some more unique instrumentation. It's a small thing but I think it made the track better overall.
