Legend has it that AERO was born when the Pan-Pot boys were testing out HADERLUMP Berlin's top-secret jet, they broke the sound barrier so violently that it ripped a melody straight from the sky. The shockwave sent a frequency through the cockpit's radio, perfectly harmonized, as if the heavens themselves were composing a track. Stunned, they crash-landed into a field of synthesizers and recorded the ethereal sound before it vanished. Scientists tried to explain it, but no earthly logic could decode the airborne symphony. The track remains the only known collaboration between man, machine, and the atmosphere itself. As this is the very untrue origin story of HUMAN_001_AERO by Pan-Pot off their brand new HUMAN series under the just revamped Second State label. The date is April 3rd. A driving force in the techno scene, Spanish producer and DJ Ramiro Lopez has shaped a sound that encompasses techno, acid, urban and even Flamenco, as seen on this standout new release to make his debut on ARTCORE. Accompanied by tracks from an exciting producer from the UK called Tobias Paul, the alias of established house producer Curbi with his take on groove laden techno – the brand new 4 track release will be out on the 17th July. 

Ramiro Lopez makes a welcome to the ARTCORE stable bringing with him esteemed Flamenco guitarist, Miguel Clemente and Andalusian vocalist, Belén Vega. “I had the idea to create a fusion of styles, bringing authentic flamenco vibes into the world of electronic music” adds Ramiro. Both Miguel and Belén are deeply rooted and respected within flamenco tradition, creating something for the open minded and experimental.

Commencing with ‘Ay Candela’, the EP’s opener brilliantly matches the vivid intensity of flamenco with the brooding energy of techno. Whilst pounding, pacy and fierce in parts, Lopez and Paul have made certain the vibrant Latin influences of the tracks Spanish collaborators shine blissfully through the beat’s otherwise heavy, brooding ambience. 

Two tracks on the release are from Tobias Paul, the techno alias of esteemed house producer Curbi. Carving out a groove laden techno sound, this will mark his 3rd release to date, opening with ‘Brazil’, he quickly gets to work delivering a high-octane but obscure concoction of fizzing, whistling effects aside rolls of simmering snare. A chopped vocal bounces in-between thick bass tones and warping synth climaxing with a plume of whooshing melodics and final frenzy of lyrics.

The stringed brilliance of Miguel Clemente and soaring vocals of Belén Vega again take centre stage on ‘Solea’. Following a series of bell chimes comes a deep, galloping percussion and snare combo before a chorus of impassioned vocal lines ring out emotively across slamming cymbals, grumbling melodies and restless, fidgeting hi-hats. 

‘Poseidon’ is an ice-cold solo effort. Doubling down on the visceral potency that fuels much of ARTCORE DUO V, the beat possesses a diligently crafted groove that swirls aside militant drum rolls, pulping rave motifs and hollow tones to close the EP in a shadowy, low-key style.

Indira has enlisted the trusted services of Dubfire, Marco Faraone and Flug for the killer 6th instalment of the labels creative DUO release series, out on Thursday the 14th August.

At the pinnacle of his games for 30 years, Dubfire needs little introduction. A Grammy winner and maker of classics such as ‘Emissions’ and ‘Ribcage’, the SCI+TEC label founder, and other half of the legendary duo ‘Deep Dish’, Dubfire will make his ARTCORE debut with his long-time collaborator Flug, before joining Indira for her residency at Hï Ibiza on 5TH September joining Cera Khin and Gray Cosmo.

Dubfire and Flug partner up on ‘In Trance’ to deliver a pacy, chugging composition fraught with cosmic tension throughout. A brewing concoction of galactic undertones and driving grooves, the track embodies the heady trance spirit present in much of ARTCORE’s back catalogue whilst still retaining the darker styles of its creators.

Prolific producer Marco Faraone is credited with over 50 releases on a host of key electronic record labels such as Rekids, Drumcode as well as his own UNCAGE imprint. However, his contribution to the forthcoming DUO release will be the first outing for the Tuscan-born house and techno maestro on Indira’s ARTCORE. His opening track, ‘Killa’ stalks into existence in cold and calculated fashion. An undeniable creeper, it features a dark low-end that methodically develops amidst a sparce soundscape of marching drum patterns, churning bass chords and simmering pad effects.

Marco’s second track on the EP titled ‘Artcore Sessions’, pays homage to the label’s ethos. Employing the vocal talents of H.A.N whose sonorous vocals bob along upon swells of shadowy synth lines, choppy percussive drive and kick heavy breakdowns.

Flug first appeared on ARTCORE in 2024 with his track ‘Racing Cars’. That same year, the Argentine released Magma EP with Dubfire marking the pair’s first collaboration and precursor to their debut DUO release. In August, he also made his debut for Indira’s residency at Hï Ibiza playing alongside Ben Klock, Clara Cuvé, and Nuke.

The second collab track with Dubfire, which also closes out this talent heavy EP comes in the form of ‘Weightless’. They both fuse tensely wound rhythms, off-kilter chords and serene pad effects to concoct a breezy, gravity defying composition that showcases both producer’s ability to craft nuanced electronic music to rival that of the more pummelling.
