Track 3 from debut LP "That Is All" .... the song slowly builds starting with a 6/8 feel until it finds a striking, unique 4/4 groove centered around a fantastic bass riff by Ryan Schwartz, vocals follow and the song swirls and swells until getting back to the 6/8 vibe in a big triumphant, yet sad outro. The song, and album, was recorded at Tiny Telephone Recording in San Francisco by Jacob Winik.

Miles Away

Haunting , mostly instrumental tune that twists and turns until the final triumphant guitar lick grabs you and leaves you wanting more

Favorite track off the album for Jeffrey and Edward, "Gerald" starts quiet, swells, swirls, and soars, and just might give you a lump in your throat; a bittersweet melody completes this three and a half minute thought on loss and regret

Gerald

A tense, brooding swing beat marches along, with nods to rock and a hint of blues, in order to carry lyrical expressions of frustration and bewilderment at the tendencies of human nature, until the anger transforms into a melancholy and ultimately triumphant coda. The product of sleepless nights and disbelief at current events.

Recorded in San Francisco, CA at Secret Studios (drums) and Edward's apartment (everything else). Tracked on Jon's Tascam 388 tape machine. Mixed by Virgil Scott ( @twentyfourtracks ) in Logic.
