Synthwave is both incredibly easy to make and extraordinarily heavy on vibes and atmosphere. It's generally under 100 bpm so there's a massive amount of time and space to play with, but you have to keep it somewhat primitive and deliberate, or it won't sound like it was recorded in the 80s. I have enjoyed making it more than I thought I would, so you can all expect a fair amount of it in the future.

Cytus II Battle CHAOS JPの決勝課題曲として初披露。

2018年11月。とある雑談枠でGodspeedさんと対談中。
Ice「合作しよ？テーマはラーメンで。」
Godspeed「いいぜ！ラーメンbotとGodspeedだからRamen is Godやな？」
それからしばらくGodspeedさんのツイッターの名前にRamen is Godがついていた。（2019年11月13日時点で健在）

よく知られていることだけど、ロキにゃんさんは冗談をド本気でやるバケモノである。
2019年4月、Rayark本社にで。
プロデューサーから、Rayark WonderlandのC2大会で、決勝戦に使う新曲制作してくれって言われて、心から大きな声で「きたああああ」と叫んでいた。
早速Godspeedさんに電話して、「Ramen is God」の制作が決定した。

「二人で一緒にラーメンを食べてないというのは、ラーメンは神という感覚を同じラーメンを食べながら共有出来てないというだけのことなのであまり気にしないでください。」

気にしないわけないんでしょう。ラーメンは神だから。

「ラーメンは神」というこの世の真理にIceさんと共に触れることになりました。ラーメンを食べるというのは神聖な時間であり、救済の瞬間であり、また一方で食べ終わってしまう絶望を受け入れるためのカウントダウンでもあります。ラーメンとは喜びと哀しみを内包しているのです。故にこの曲もその2つが同居したものでなければならず、シンフォニックメタルに辿り着いたのは自然過ぎるほど自然なことでした。

ラーメンと対面した際の湯気のようなイントロから始まり、スープの最初の一口をすすった時のようなパンチのあるTutti、一心不乱に麺をかきこむ変則的なリフ、魂で味わうバイオリンとギターのユニゾン、太麺の縮れを想起させる細かなトリルの入り混じったギターのメロディ、高菜やお酢、ラー油を投入し味を変える後半戦、勢いのまま貪った結果訪れるラーメンとの突然の別れ、と畳み掛けるように展開していきます。あなたにはどんなラーメンが感じられましたか？

もし今すぐラーメン屋に行くことが出来なくても安心して下さい。カップ麺にお湯を注いでこの曲を1度聴けば大体食べ頃になっているはずですから。
