I haven’t released a multi-track project (like an album or an EP) in 18 months, in spite of making beats on a daily basis. I’ve been (and still am) hesitant to release them. Most of them are just way too basic (imo), others might be too odd.

In order to form a project, I need some sort of underlying concept or unifying idea, a „roten Faden“ connecting (at least in my mind) the individual songs. Assembling such a project is usually a time consuming process for me, but not this time. These five songs more or less fell into place and I couldn’t be happier about it!

After having listened to the EP, you might be surprised to learn that it is about dancing (hence the title). I, myself, can’t „really“ dance, but I gladly bust a move whenever the opportunity presents itself!
So.. this one, this EP, „Tanz, Kassiopeia, tanz!“ goes out to all the dancers!
To the dancers that make us oooh & aaaah, to the kid dancing with its mom in the living room, to everybody dancing in a silly way with ones friends at the end of the night or to those dancing in a tight embrace, forgetting everyone around them – this one’s for you.
