At a first listen slightly out of order with the general view of the label's output till date yet still in balance and recognizable as EMERALD catalog. This collection of work by Remco Beekwilder contains recorded loops and concepts initially produced between 2010 - 2015 and now re-assembled, polished and finalized at the authentic Tramkade, 's-Hertogenbosch in 2021. Expect everything within the range of sweet melancholic tenderness and raw to the floor takes.

Volume 2 of "Louder Than Chaos" on @soma sees Slam team up with UK techno legend, Perc, for 2 absolutely hammering tracks. This double A-side release has both artists colliding perfectly as they unleash ferocious and relentless rhythms

Carbon Black opens uncompromisingly with thunderous drums, perfectly tuned to give that heavy stomping effect, continuously increasing in intensity before relenting momentarily to a subdued pad before rocketing back in, all guns blazing. Schism goes on a more industrial tip with its more mechanized feel and crashing percussion building slowly and with purpose. Short, abrupt stabs give rise to the tension that is quickly cleaved by clinical, razor-sharp percussion
