Club-focussed heaters are only a part of musical development. Sometimes you need to catch also the strings and melodies of a certain moment. From silence to wild nature noises, from sunshine to deep and dark winter mood. You are coming home with a melody in your head and you find peace in some hard and techy sounds coming in and bringing movement for your blood. Diverse like life, thats Mononoid's first longplayer. 

"Elf" is the first track creating a spacious atmosphere were you can loose yourself in, but still keeps you on the right track. "Anna" is intense and wide open, without loosing the trippy character. "Monorus" is full of magic with it's hard switch and it's spacey flair.A walk through an unreal world brings the track "Parks and Gardens" - a blues guiding you to a place in between where the clouds open up. 

With our dear friend Beatamines the dutch duo created "Yotta" which is a very techy track for the late night in the club. "Take steps" will bring you home finally with a bag full of new ideas and sounds. Enjoy this beautiful trip and don't get lost on the way - how the guys described it together with Amy White.

Life can be puzzling with all its never-ending flow of vicissitudes. The constant turmoil of the soul can lead to losing ground. When Manea, Goddess of madness, takes possession of a man's mind, he is no longer his own self but stands beside it with cleft mind. No longer himself, under influence, alienated, he feels no rest until she finally leaves him... If she ever does. 

Divagations Cosmiques is an artistic attempt to express Madness through music, but in a relatively restrained way. As if it acted both as a straitjacket to keep delusion under control, and a relieving sedative to ease the soul.

Entry Nr. 389: I’ve been eavesdropping at doors. For them I am dangerous, they want to isolate me on this planet CPG05. They say that I would be alone; I hate being alone, so, I am going to take him with me.

Entry Nr. 390: I walk straight ahead and I see thousands of paths joining mine. The effects of the medicine are fading away. He is here. He came. I love him as much as I hate him. He binds me and I fasten the ties. He wants to take control. I keep walking.

Entry Nr. 391: I’m lost. My path is itself decomposed into numerous ways, for- cing me to turn. For I must have turned, right? I shout. Nobody answers me except him, he wants to guide me... I am scared, he is to blame for everything.

Entry Nr. 392: The right path is here somewhere, I can feel it. I’m concentrating. I have to find an issue. He keeps whispering the way to me but I think he is wrong. That’s it. He’s been lying from the very beginning. I don’t need him any- more... No! I have never needed him. His presence is unbearable to me. I break our links and I tell him to go away. He does not want to. So, I run.

Entry Nr. 393: I am exhausted but I move faster. I feel that if I stop I’m going to be his prisoner. The more I move away, the more I have the impression that I discern the right path. Yes! it is the right direction, I know. I turn back. He is not here anymore. To think about it, he has never been here. I was him and he is not me anymore. I laugh. I found my path: No more allured. I was cured.

Continuing the celebrations surrounding Poker Flat’s 20th year in operation, we are treated to another sublime rework of a back catalogue treasure.  

This time it’s concerning the work of Danish polymath Trentemøller, and his certified classic Moan. Featuring the vocal-talents of Ane Trolle, the track was originally released in 2007, in what could be described as one of Trentemøller’s many splendids. 

Here we have a remix courtesy of Tim Engelhardt - a Poker Flat regular who has built a formidable reputation over the last years. His reinterpretation is the perfect mix of Trentemøller’s instinct for sleek hooks with his own savvy, slinky tech house. The full version features Trolle’s timeless vocals, and there’s also an instrumental version for the DJs.
