September is already here and elrow Music is keeping the summer vibes alive with its latest delivery, this time in the hands of Germany͛s KlangKuenstler. The uber-talented, Berlin-based DJ and producer delivers an outstanding ERM112 that goes by the name of ͚Pop Dem Bottles EP͛. This three-tracker is full of reference to that 90s-influenced sound that is hitting so hard right now in dancefloors all over the world, and surely will do the same with elrow Music͛s crowds in the months to come. Opening the EP we have the track naming this Extended Play, ͚Pop Dem Bottles (Original Mix)͛, a track with clear reference to 90͛s rappers with its vocal line, a playful bassline and a techy, broken percussion that will tear up some dancing shoes amongst the b-boys in the dancefloor. Then we have ͚House Your Body (Original Mix)͛, a more tech-house song that starts with high energy, a heavy but steady percussion, and some amazing synth play, with a peak time vibe that will make crowds go crazy, also with a high dose of hip-hopish influences in its vocal line. Closing this EP we have ͚Girlfriend Mentions (Original Mix)͛, a track with a slower start that builds itself around some horn sounds and its vocal line, with a more electric kinda vibe, infused with a great synth and FX treatment, and leaning towards a more techno energy. All in all, this ERM112 by the unpronounceable KlangKuenstler is a beast by own right and will for sure tear up many dancefloors with its 90͛s infused energy and high overall quality. After OW001's maiden-voyage into outer space, Outworld now takes us to the underworld courtesy of label head Klangkuenstler's 'Balthazar' EP, which marries raw peaktime-power with claustrophobic-come-ecstatic atmospheres, served over the course of four tracks.
The devil's dancing on the title-track: as serrated off-hits shatter on tough kicks, a wicked saw-riff begins to drill through the drums as if summoned from Hades. In contrast, the bass-driven body and pulsating sinus-tone of 'Zorn Amons' grind like teeth as they build in tension. A moment of illusive release comes with 'Das Schattenreich', on which the reverberating, fast-paced percussion
runs for escape, hunted fiercely by a meaty trance-lead. On 'Jenseits', though, Klangkuenstler pulls us back into purgatory, showcasing a dramatic end to a carefully crafted and devilishly fun EP of rough club bangers.

Eli continues to establish himself as one of the UK’s most prolific producers and it’s easy to see why. With releases like his hit collaboration with Solardo ‘XTC’ currently hitting the dizzy heights of daytime Radio 1, and anthems like ‘Brazil’ (Repopulate Mars), ‘Inside My Head’ (Black Book) and ‘BS48’ (Big Beat) causing damage on the international club circuit, his talents have garnered key support from every corner of the dance music spectrum.

This release marks yet another pivotal moment in Eli Brown’s career as he steps into the darker / underground world of Alan Fitzpatrick. Add to this the widespread support from the likes of Carl Cox, Green Velvet, Fisher, Claude VonStroke, Solardo, Black Madonna, Denis Sulta, Calvin Harris, Annie Mac & more and it’s easy to see why everyone is talking about “Eli Brown.” 

The EP kicks off with title track ‘Come Together’. A concoction of solid 909 kicks and snappy percussion which come alive once the rolling bass fires off. Keyed melodics at the break take the track in a completely unexpected direction, bringing the listener to their knees.

Deeper but equally upbeat, ‘Thinking About You’ revels in a warm ‘90s glow with powerful rave stabs that drive the track forward. Pads and extra FX complete a clever ode to the UK Hardcore scene.

‘92 Thing’ opens into a deeply vibey groove-a-thon with “ecstasy” vocal shots for full effect! Tough drums and scattergun percussion keep things grounded into 2019, as the classic Juno pads send the old school crew into raptures.

Outside of the studio, Eli Brown embraces a busy tour schedule with a stacked summer of shows in Ibiza alongside performances for Bodyworks, ANTS, ABODE and Toolroom. The ‘Come Together’ EP falls around an eleven-date North American Tour, and marking just one of the countless trips across the pond for Eli Brown this year, it’s no wonder he’s earned a reputation as one of the hardest DJ’s in the scene.

Serving as the primary source for Klangkuenstler's demonic productions, the Berlin label Outworld is by now a go-to for driving, industrial-strength techno with a penchant for firy hooks and hellishly atmospheric soundscapes. On catalogue number 005, Klangkuenstler orchestrates a dynamic tension between rock-hard underworld grooves and transcendental ascension, as implied by its title 'Himmelreich'.

The A1 of the same name pointedly encapsulates this age-old pull between dark and light within the wicked waltz of a punchy power-beat and a sugary, elevating synth lead: imagine the devil knocking on heaven's door. Next up, the gnarly scrap-metal fuzz, insidious pads and trademark poetic spoken-word of 'Alte Zeit' reject relief for something altogether more vicious – yet no less fulfilling. 'Jugend Ohne Gott', the EP's grand closer, also carries a captivating duality in its heart. Here, regal strings add a bittersweet melancholy to the bouncy oomph of its percussion, once again underlining that Klangkuenstler stands for fierce techno and epic emotions, nailing a feeling of frictions evermore present in our world.
