Genauso wie die Biodiversität auf unser menschliches Leben einwirkt, beeinflusst unsere fortschreitende Entwicklung den Lebensraum der Pflanzen und Tiere. Das immense Tempo der Expansion in alle Richtungen bringt vieles unausweichlich aus dem bisher gewohnten Rhythmus. Es fordert jegliches Leben heraus, neue Wege und Lösungen zu finden, um sich der teilweise extrem schnellen Wandlung anzupassen. Die Auswirkungen sind auf mehreren Ebenen ersichtlich, spürbar wie auch hörbar. Welchen Einfluss hat dies auf unsere Klanglandschaft? Was wird lauter? Was wird leiser? Was bleibt und was kommt neu dazu? 

Dieses Hörstück ist eine spekulative Auseinandersetzung, fernab von utopischen oder dystopischen Vorstellungen. Es wird dabei spezifisch auf die Veränderung unserer Klanglandschaft eingegangen. Es wird davon ausgegangen, dass die Biodiversität sowie die fortschreitende Implementierung von Automatisierung oder trainierten Algorithmen in unserem Leben entscheidend dazu beitragen.

Future Soundscapes – Hörstück

It's dawn on a very still Lake Öjesjön in mid April. Just a few days earlier the lake was completely frozen, but in the past few days Spring has well and truly come alive. In this recording we hear Canada and Grey Lag Geese, Common Cranes, Goldeneye and other wetland birds on the lake. From the trees on the shore of the lake we hear a Redwing accompanied by other woodland birds. From time to time we hear Black Grouse displaying in the distance.
