This is my third composition in which Taiko drums play a significant role. In style, it is different to the others, I think. I hope you enjoy. It's now part of my Taiko serie to which I will add one or two more in the future.

98 - Taiko Dreams - State One

The melody of Pachelbel's Canon is pure magic to me. I felt for along time a strong desire to create an interpretation myself of it. This is the second interpretation today. I exchanged almost every instrument to synths of many different kinds, however I left some classic instruments. I like this second one more.

"Pachelbel's Canon (also known as the Canon in D, P 37) is an accompanied canon by the German Baroque composer Johann Pachelbel. The canon was originally scored for three violins and basso continuo and paired with a gigue, known as Canon and Gigue for 3 violins and basso continuo. Both movements are in the key of D major. Although a true canon at the unison in three parts, it also has elements of a chaconne. Neither the date nor the circumstances of its composition are known (suggested dates range from 1680 to 1706), and the oldest surviving manuscript copy of the piece dates from 1838 to 1842.[1]"

Im Herzen (TRK-153)

Klangmeer is the German translation for "Sea of sound" and that's what I want to create. 

In my early 20s a vinyl addicted house and funk DJ, still possessing the two Technics turntables, which were my first major investment. Dropped out of music when they forced the much more expensive CD into the market. Now back to music as a bedroom DJ and producer, mixing and producing my own stuff, still in love with house and funk and doing my first steps in orchestral composition and also techno. I'm also working on orchestral house as a musical concepts, trying to combine the magic of rhythm with the magic of classic instruments like strings, piano and others.
