The idea behind his newest CD, Om Meditation, is to act as an aid for meditative and therapeutical exercises. It is an invitation to relax and harmonize with one's surroundings. Through minimalistic modulations the sound changes gradually --- the amount of tones has been consciously reduced in order to open up the listener's world for personal experiences. (Thus this production focuses on supporting meditations or spiritual exercises, rather than being a distraction).

'Om', which is an exact overtone of the tropical earth year (earth's orbit around the sun), is the root tone of a large part of classical Indian music. It is a C-sharp with -31.38 cent and has a frequency of 136.10 Hertz. The CD running time of 62 minutes also coincides with the cycle of many meditations.

Planetentöne sind mächtige, urtümliche Frequenzen – ihr Klang lässt eintauchen in den kraftvollen Charakter eines Planeten.
Diese uralten Frequenzen unseres Sonnensystems werden nun auf einem Klangkörper hör- und spielbar.

Eine Steel Tongue Drum – Stahlzungentrommel – ist ein Hohlkörper aus Stahl. Auf der Oberfläche befinden sich schwingfähige Aussparungen (Zungen), deren Klang durch den Resonanzkörper verstärkt wird. Bislang gab es diese Klangobjekte lediglich in üblichen Tonleitersystemen. Im Klangwirkstoff-Netzwerk entstand nun eine Steel Tongue Drum mit den Planetentönen unseres Sonnensystems.

Integriert sind die Planetentöne von Merkur, Venus, Erde, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus und Neptun sowie der Sonnenton.

Der Sonnenton nimmt naturgemäß das Zentrum ein. Seine Frequenz entspricht der Rotation mit Lichtgeschwindigkeit um das Gravitationszentrum. Dieser Grenzton ist auch auf Solaris aufgrund seiner tiefen Frequenz weniger hörbar, als Vibration jedoch schon deutlich spürbar: ~ 126 Hz / H + 38 cent.

Die Terrestrischen:
Merkur's schnelle Umlaufbahn findet in einer hohen Oktave ihre Entsprechung: ~ 565 Hz / C# + 33 cent.
Venus erscheint uns nur morgens oder abends mit ~ 442 Hz / A +10 cent.
Unser Heimatplanet Erde umläuft die Sonne in 365,24 Tagen: ~ 272 Hz / C# -31 cent.
Mars, eine rötliche Erscheinung am Nachthimmel, hört auf den Ton ~ 289 Hz / D - 25 cent.

Die Gasplaneten:
Jupiter, der mächtige, hat durch seine Masse Einfluss auf alle Planetenbahnen. Sein Ton schwingt bei ~ 184 Hz / F# - 13 cent.
Saturn fasziniert durch seine Ringe. Der Klang von ~ 148 Hz / D + 12 cent entspricht seiner Umlaufbahn.
Uranus zieht in eisigen Weiten seine Bahnen, als hörbare Frequenz also ~ 415 Hz / G# - 2 cent.
Neptun's Umlaufjahr um die Sonne dauert 165 mal länger als das der Erde, als Oberton mit der Frequenz von ~ 211 Hz /  G# + 31 cent.

Music For Growing, based on the calculations of Hans Cousto, 
is a concept album tuned to the spectral maxima of the Delta-9 THC molecule. 

Homeopathic essences of frequencies, designed to trigger the documented psychotropic effect of THC through our sense of hearing or - as an agent - pass it on to the plant. This is the sound and rhythm of pure oscillations from the cannabis plant itself. 

The basic idea behind the creation of this CD stems from the desire to
stimulate plant growth through sound projection. 

In the production of this album particular hemispheric synchronizations of the THC molecular frequency (10.77 Hz) were used, acoustically blending pure THC sinus waves with the additional six spectra of the molecule, in the form of wind chimes. 

Thus Music For Growing serves as a soundtrack for the ambitious 
domestic hemp grower and can, with deliberate, recurring use enhance 
plant growth. 

To achieve optimum results it is recommended to expose the plant to sound only during light periods.

Exactly 1 year later, on 19.04.2019, the Bicycle Day, this setting is now published.

Oriom is the solo project of Rainer von Vielen. He has been fine-tuning these space trips for years. At the time of the lockdown the moment had finally come to turn a healing idea into an album.  

Each song is written in a special planetary tone mood. The frequency of rotation of the planets around the sun, octaved into an audible range. Beats that resonate with these frequencies. That's the core of this album. So the journey begins on Mars, continues to the Platonic year of the earth, flies there to Venus, goes on an earth day to turn the annual tone of our home planet (432 Hz) for 28 minutes. And finally the album ends on the gravitational length of the sun.
