Tom was born on October 24, 1979 in Sonneberg. At the age of 16 he discovered his love for electronic music. At that time he was inspired by music sets of Richie Hawtin, Karotte and many other artists.He also had a big interest in spinning records.
Tom began to create Mixes... He put on records in many reputable locations in his homeland and at numerous radio stations like Sputnik Radio for example. He convinced lots of parties with his ingenious DJ Skills and also wants to convince you. For Tom electronic music is just timeless.

Hello My Name Is Echo is me paying homage to one of my best mates on his Birthday. Echo is a good friend as well as fellow DJ on the many Irish radio stations we held residencies at. He's also longtime collaborator on our successful long running Deep Fusion series. I always admired when Echo did his Deep Dub sets and the carefully curated beats he used to craft the perfect vibe. So for his Birthday this year, I dug into my Dub beats for a nice deep dub set to pay tribute to him. Nice chilled beats with a trippy, laid back deep vibe. Berlin based music duo Nadja Lind and Helmut Ebritsch have been crafting audio under the KLARTRAUM banner since 2006 and co-run the much admired Lucidflow label, notching up admirers such as progressive icon Hernan Catteneo, French techno legend Laurent Garnier, figurehead of deep Seth Troxler, legendary techno outfit Slam and one of the musical directors of Fabric in the shape of Terry Francis. The list of Klartraum EP’s and five studio albums – Evolution, Secret Moon, Enneagram, Void Universes, Manifestation as well as a live concert at Passion Church in Berlin – come hand in hand with wave upon wave of plaudits from the scene’s leading names.

Such recognition does not come without merit. Nadja is a successful solo artist in her own right with an impressive catalogue to her name and a bustling globetrotting DJ-ing schedule. Helmut is a master of production, cutting his teeth in the simple tracker tools that found their way onto the Commodore platforms in the pre-internet era, before lending his accomplished keyboard playing and mastering skills to the Klartraum pairing.

A ying and yang of personalities melts together to create the iconic Klatraum sound, dancing with Nadja’s ceaseless energy and caressing with Helmut’s measured style. The middle ground between the two friends comes from a love for Metaphysical Psychology. Often producers may speak of “spirituality” in their work but how often does it translate into their music? Very little. Here, by understanding the deeper levels of psychology, Klartraum’s productions hit deeper than bedrock – the bass velvets you, the kicks push through the ribcage, the melodies lead your mind by the hand in a merry dance through wonderland."
